Service is okay, but this IS NOT authentic Jamaican cuisine. The jerk is not spicy, the rice and peas have no coconut flavor, and the cabbage is very bland. There isn’t a trace of scotch bonnet pepper in any of this food. And if you know Jamaican food, you know scotch bonnet is part of the flavor.

I’ve never eaten carribean/Jamaican food before so I might be off in saying this but the food was very different, very flavorful, and very good. The jerk chicken pairs perfectly with the pasta. And the rice & peas was a great meal by itself. Can’t wait to come back and try the rum cake!

This place is a national treasure. The food is absolutely fantastic the price is spot on. The portion size is flawless. The environment makes you feel like you are in Jamaica. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Oxtail prices are subject to change based on market price. Like the Tardis (dr.who reference) it’s bigger on the inside. Plenty of tables & spacious inside. The customer service is completely on point w/this restaurant! FOOD…. I have tried something different everytime I’m here & haven’t been disappointed. A hidden gym

I had Jerk Chicken (small) as my lunch entree. The meat was tender; I can tell that they grill the chicken and slathered it with the sauce. The rice and red bean had a Pina colada taste with bit of coconut. The festival was sweet and a nice dessert. The waitress was really nice and check upon us and others to make sure we are good.

Food is good but they don’t give you what I feel is a recommended portion. I’ve visited several times before and was pleased but this last time I felt I got the scraps. Not impressed when your spending your money for good quality food. Great flavor but not portions.

The lady was Rude and acting in an odd manner, which yes, indeed Did make my neighbor and I uncomfortable. Instead of dining in as we desired, we left. Upon the placing of our orders, we received stares and nasty laughs from additional staff members/employees. They need to tear the place down and build a Mexican restaurant in that lot. Please, and thank you!!

When you open the door to Jamrock it’s like being transported to a local Jamaican restaurant. You’re immediately on island time given the relaxed atmosphere and the superb food. We’ve been here a number of times and will return again and again. I tried the Barbifry chicken this time and it was great. Crispy, lightly battered and covered in Jamaican BBQ sauce. YUM!

My wife and I got lunch here for the first time today. The owner was very nice and happy to answer questions and discuss Jamaican food. We ordered an appetizer, festival bread, the jerk chicken and ackee and saltfish. There wasn’t much of a wait and the food was fresh and tasty. We’ll definitely be back again.
