Had to separate the oxtail so you can clearly see what I received. Bones? & The ones that had any meat was mostly fat & dry. I ordered here because my first experience was great. The service and quality just went down from there.

LOVE this place!!! Man I’m kicking myself for having driven by this place for years and not stopping in. Finally did several weeks ago and returned for several meals since. Just got the jerk chicken pasta for the first time tonight… my eyes are literally rolling around in my head it’s so good! THIS tastes like Jamaica!!! ❤️ Service was amazing, atmosphere and music, amazing… simply AMAZING!

I was really in the mood for curry chicken after I had eaten it in the past and fallen in love. Perhaps my expectations were a bit too high, last time I had it the flavor was impeccable. There was absolutely no flavor with the curry chicken here . The cashier was extremely sweet and the environment was welcoming for me. Just felt the food could use a bit more flavor 🙁

The jerk chicken is the sole reason to visit. The seasoning was very good and the grill was on point, tender and enjoyable. The brown stew chicken sauce /gravy is too sweet for my taste, but otherwise good. (it’s traditionally not sweet) the curry was lackluster and not robust, was very thin. The oxtails looked greasy, and I didn’t order them so try on your own, to me they looked unappealing and unappetizing, but I usually love oxtails. Plaintains were dry, not sweet or tender, boiled yams we’re not flavored. Mac looked dried out, I didn’t order it. Beef Pattie’s would probably be better earlier in the day, as I visited at 7:30 in the evening, the patty pastry was flaky and flavored well, but was overcooked like it had been there for several hours. Many other menu items were unavailable. Most items went into the trash, wasn’t worth the $48.00. Worth a try though for the jerk and the Pattie’s. Go earlier in the day or on a Saturday.

I’ve had my fair share of Jamaican food & have my favorites spots ITP but Jameric is a little closer to home so I had high hopes this could be “the” spot. I’ve tried it a couple of times now but after this 3rd try, my conclusion is that it’s just average. Not terrible but not great. My main contention is that there are just too many bones in the chicken making it difficult to just get a good solid bite of meat instead you’re left to pick through it all and the chicken, the rice & peas, & the plantains are all a touch dry. I want so badly to support a small, family-owned business so I’m disappointed I couldn’t give this a 5-star review.

This place used to be amazing- but the past 3 times I’ve gone (usually around noon, about an hour after they open), they do not have any chicken ready. It’s extremely frustrating when you’re on the clock and took time to drive here to eat lunch and there’s consistently no food (except for stews/sides). I really liked this place back when they opened the kitchen early enough in anticipation for 11am open time, but unfortunately I’ll no longer be coming here.

The food has gotten significantly worse, the curry is salty, the brown stew chicken tasteless and their garlic parmesan sauce was so salty after i specifically asked if it was salty and I was told it wasn’t. I won’t be going back, i feel like i wasted my money and my family was not happy. Their food used to be decent but im not sure what has happened.

…really enjoyed dining here! A friend introduced us to this restaurant, not only for the food, but of how great the service was. Went to try it out and the first thing we felt was absolutely welcomed. My guest had the Kingfish meal which came on a bed of steamed mixed vegetables; they had rice and peas, and collard greens as their sides. I had the Jerk Chicken, rice and peas, macaroni and cheese, steamed cabbage & carrots. Plantains topped both meals.
