Got a combo meal w/Catfish &Chicken, Mac N Cheese, Beans and rice. Was pose to get 2 pcs of Catfish I received a piece and a half… my 3 wings were tiny and burnt. The Mac N cheese was the worst part of the meal… it was definitely box Mac N cheese smh this made me so upset. The beans N rice were ok N I had to pay for a slice of bread. The cashier didn’t know nothing about the drinks and food with a nasty attitude. My drinks weren’t cold… It was an overall bad experience for me to have spent over $30 on 1 meal.

I have been coming here for years and I’m not sure if today is an off day or if they just fell off but I’m disappointed. Prices increasing wouldn’t even bother me if the food quality was consistent. This order of plantain was $7 and that’s just crazy. They aren’t even cooked well, seem drier than usual. I always come here for the oxtail and this time around they aren’t cooked long enough. The meat is way too tough in comparison to the last few times I’ve ordered here. $80 for 3 oxtail dinners and it’s mostly subpar. Hate to say I won’t be back. This place used to really be a gem.

The food is good, but the service has gotten worse. They’ve changed all the menu prices. Expect to pay AT LEAST $5 extra for any of the dinners, plus all sides aren’t included as sides. ALSO they no longer give you bread, and they charge 75¢ a piece for it. All I see is price gouging for no reason. There’s no reason they couldn’t have updated the online OR in store menu board by now, not good business. Time to find a new jerk place to eat

This is my favorite jerk spot on the south side. They get busy so check your food before you leave. Other than that, Their food is always fresh. Ask for extra gravy on the rice. Get there early if you like white meat lol. If you get cabbage, put some of the jerk sauce in it and thank me lataaa
