Sadly this food was not good at all. It was so bland that it taste like everything was made with no seasoning. The macaroni and cheese was overdone and tasted like it had no cheese in it. I also purchased brown stew chicken which was cooked to long. Then it was way to expensive! If you’re looking for some good Jamaican food and you can travel then I’d recommend trying the Mayne Dish in Wilmington De. You won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time here I did let them know that I would give a review…first and foremost the food was Amazing..the Oxtail was very tender macaroni and cheese really good cabbage was tasty..the Curry goat was good .. the atmosphere was great and everyone was pleasant and friendly..and it’s very clean in there..everyone needs to come and try..I definitely will be back again.

I love eating from here, the food is always GREAT! They have a wide variety of drinks to choose from and a good selection of food on the menu. The curry goat is my personal favorite because it reminds me so much of my dad’s curry goat. But that’s not the only good thing on the menu!

Amazing location, amazing customer service and just over all an amazing experience. Oxtail is always my go to dish at any Jamaican restaurant, but this spot takes the trophy. Hands down the best!!! The owner recommended i try the jerk chicken patty, and it did not disappoint. Definitely a 10/10.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. We ordered off of DoorDash and we were so excited to eat some good authentic oxtail. Unfortunately we got Oxtail with barely any meat on it. It was basically just fat on a bone. The Mac and Cheese somehow stayed in the same cube shape and was so under seasoned. The yams you could tell came right out of the can and had nothing but air on it. The rice was good but you can’t mess up rice, and the beef patty was dry. No disrespect to the owner but this is just terrible and I don’t think I could ever get this again.

No thank you!!! This food here is awful. Don’t have any flavor or authentic seasoning. Macaroni blocks are dry with imitation cheese, Yams come straight from the can to your plate room temperature. Curry like water and Oxtail just bone in brown sauce. It’s like bad cafeteria food. Need name change to just “FOOD CAFE”

I’ve been going to this place for 2 years now and nothing has changed. The food and the service are still the best I’ve experienced. Let’s just say, I’m a big fan of their oxtail and it never seems to disappoint. As long as they’re in business, I will continue to give them business. Definitely recommend.

First time stopping here and definitely the last. The driest most flavorless veggie patty I’ve ever eaten. I made the mistake of getting two and a cocoa bread. Thankfully I didn’t spend any additional money on a beverage. This place just doesn’t do it for me on any level.-Response to restaurant reply-you still heat them up and sell them dry and flavorless. You are an active participant and it’s your business not your supplier.
