Absolutely loved the cocktails, we just went to get couple of beers but end up trying almost every cocktail on the menu. I only ordered Grilled Octopus and it was delicious. Will definitely go again. Bartender was soft spoken and very attentive. Too bad that this places closes at 10 .

The chicken they serve is truly amazing, and don’t miss out on their delightful green rice that’s bursting with flavor. The accompanying green sauce adds an extra layer of deliciousness. Unfortunately, I can’t give a full five stars due to a disappointing experience with the Jalea dish. The shrimp and crab were not cleaned properly, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, the fish fillet had an overpowering fishy taste that didn’t sit well. Regrettably, I won’t be opting for this dish in the future.

We have been ordering food at this place for a year now, family size Jalea was a lot for 4 people and the tray was packed when we first ordered from them, but we noticed for the past times that we ordered from them the portion got smaller and smaller and last night when my husband ordered it, it was almost just 1/3 of the tray. Very disappointed we felt that it was a rip-off, the seafood was over-cooked and the fish tasted old and dry. We will never order from this place nor go to this restaurant ever again!!!!

I’ve been wanting to go here for some time and finally stopped by on a Wednesday night. The food was absolutely amazing! The cocktails were to die for. I loved the piso sour, it was perfect. The price was a little lower than I expected (always a good thing). The quality of the food was really something else. Very fresh seafood. What a hidden little gem. Outstanding staff!

Finally got around to trying this Peruvian restaurant out, I should have tried it sooner. The namesake dish of this restaurant was well cooked with good variety of seafood and enough to feed at least 3 people. The rotisserie chicken was well seasoned and cooked, moist on inside with crispy skin. The lomo saltado was a minor disappointment, it wasn’t cooked with enough flare (wok hai), flavor was slightly lacking, and there wasn’t enough sauce. The cut of beef was higher quality than at other restaurants. Prices are comparable to other Peruvian restaurants in the area and a good deal for the amount of quality food.

First time here. In one word. AMAZING. This place was recommended by a friend. And I was very pleased with everything. Made a reservation for two and was immediately seated when we got there. Our waiter, Sebastian, was professional and very cordial. The staff was also courteous. My wife and I absolutely loved the food. Great place if you want to try new things. They have a wide variety of appetizers and entrees. Definitely coming back.

Food was amazing and service was ok. They do charge you a fee for credit card but I am ok with that because many places do now. What i am not happy is the automatic gratituty of 20%. I pay 20% regardless no matter what and they had they had the audacity to charge me 20% plus asked me for another 18-24% tip underneath from total price not even from sub total. I almost paid tip twice. What upset me more is this is the only restaurant business in hicksville that charges you 8.75% not 8.625% and only place that charges you 3% of gratituty cc fee. Like i said, cc fee is ok but it is wrong to charge the gratituty fee as well on top of that asking for total tip from price not from sub total. Totally not cool like i said food is good good portion service is just same as other restaurants but this place is doing something shady for sure

The recipes and the chef have changed. No longer the same welcoming place. Was not advised my food selection was no longer available (arroz con mariscos) and was substituted without being asked for Chaufa de mariscos. After more than 4 years eating there I will hesitate to return.
