The lady who takes the order was very rude. I ordered the vegetarian Sabich sandwich and specifically requested to exclude eggs in my order. Guess what, it came with eggs. When I called back to complain, she started arguing with me that it was my mistake and I didn’t confirm the order before placing it. She didn’t even apologize for her mistake nor offered to refund the money for that item. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The food was underwhelming in general, but the service was good as the lady at the counter was very helpful. As someone who has been to the Middle East and tried authentic cuisine, I would say the preparation and flavor of some of the dishes like Tabbouleh, Spanakopita, hummus, and babaghanoush was generally lacking.

My mixed salad plate was very tasty. Pita was amazing. The fries were good but huge portion. The falafel were good hot, but the dipping sauce was not my taste and they got greasy when they cooled. The key lime was fantastic. The baklava was not the best, but I was warned it wasn’t the newest. It was a pricey lunch but high quality.

I finally looked inside Jaffa, and it’s a nice little Israeli deli hiding right next to the City Market in El Jebel! They’ve even got a pastry case and espresso bar.

Tried this place for the first time and it’s absolutely wonderful! Portions are huge and the prices are so reasonable. The falafel was the best I’ve had. Will be back weekly.

Food is delicious and staff is wonderful!! All 6 of our meals were different and we were all super satisfied with what we ordered—and one of the folks in our party lived in Israel for a year and said she was very impressed by how yummy and authentic the food was. Portions were a perfect size to be satiated but not stuffed, and the food came out very quickly. Will definitely be back!!

I eat a lot of middle eastern food and I really wanted to love this place but it’s gonna be a pass for me. The chicken shawarma in the pita bread looked great but it was severely lacking in flavor. The hummus was fine but the bar is pretty low for that. The gyro meat was bland but the dish presentation looked great! The baklava and other deserts where decent to good but not enough to save this place. Bland middle eastern kitchen is more like it.

We were incredibly happy with the food at this fast and friendly restaurant in Carbondale. There are few restaurants like this around—no frills, just solid food. I would come back here regularly if I lived in the area.

The food is delicious. I really welcome the Mediterranean cuisine. Its not easy to get such cultural variety in Colorado. Their Gyros are the best I can find around here. Tender and flavorful with freshly baked pita and delicious tahini make this my favorite dish. However, I expanded my horizons by ordering their chicken shawarma plate which was a lovely light but satisfying salad; their brisket sandwich is so tender and juicy. The hummus is freshly made, but a little bland for me. They also carry fresh baked bagettes and croissants for the morning crowd. I wish they were located closer by but I’d probably eat there every day if they were.
