We are here for the first time. It has a cool atmosphere and the waitress was very friendly. It was smaller than I was expecting. I had the smoked brisket and jerk chicken both were good but kinda cold, which I feel is normal for smoked food. Overall I was happy with everything and I would try it again.

Lives up to its BBQ hype! Make sure you make time to stop in. Casual/local vibe with really great service and some tasty BBQ. I had the pulled pork and ribs- both extremely flavorful, with beans and sweet potato fries (both excellent!). Cornbread delish too.

I really tried to like this establishment. I gave it many chances. As others have said, it does take a while for food sometimes and that was a common experience for me as well, but I figured it was limited to BBQ items. Today, I waited over an hour…for a club sandwich. One. Club. Sandwich.

I was really excited to try this place, but was extremely disappointed. We were seated immediately but never warned about the wait. We waited at least an hour and twenty minutes for food to arrive. The waitress stopped by about every ten minutes to apologize and tell us it would be right out. She seemed so worn down of having to say this over and over. He apologies were sincere, but this restaurant is failing her. When food finally did arrive, we got everything except the club sandwich, which took another ten minutes to arrive. The quality of the food was underwhelming. Brisket was dry and tough, club sandwich wasn’t even assembled, fries were soggy, and all the meats were cold. The waitress offered to replace our food but who has that kind of time to wait again? It is clear management needs to reassess their methods or they will drive away the caring staff. I had high hopes, but won’t be returning.

Had a great time with my kids. Just enough atmosphere to be able to have a good time without feeling too loud. Awesome food all around. Great portions! We all left full with leftovers. Jack’s barbecue sauce was definitely a hit with me and we will be returning for sure!

Although I was a little disappointed when we got there as they were out of pork and beef (it was late on a Saturday night so not super unusual) my wife and I decided to get an appetizer and a drink. We had the loaded Fries with Jerked Chicken. It was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait till we can make it out earlier to try everything else on the menu.

We have eaten here a few times, once with a live band playing and two others without the band. The waitresses have been friendly and attentive every visit. The food has been great each time, the chicken and ribs are so good they can be eaten with or without bbq sauce. The corn bread was a little dry once, but I have a strong feeling that’s not the norm. The rest of the sides have all been good.

The food here is amazing! I have been eating at Jack’s since there were roadside stand further down Dixie Highway and this place NEVER DISAPPOINTS. Now that they’ve moved to a newer location and have a building they’ve expanded their menu and I can’t wait to try everything on it because I know it will all be some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. And it will be some of the best BBQ you’ve ever had too. My first time suggestion would be to try the loaded fries with brisket. My God it is heavenly. I’m so thankful I live in the same timeline as Jack’s. A+++++++++++
