Maybe I came at a bad time and maybe it’s because there is only 1 server and 1 cook, but it was kind of chaotic in there. I ordered the Jack’s Burger and the bun was burnt, the fries unsalted and there was like half of a whole onion under the burger patty. Almost made me cry biting into so much onion unsuspectingly.

I’m a breakfast 24/7 and local “dive” person and Jack’s fit the bill to a tee! One test is properly cooked eggs over medium, they hit a home run. Growing up in Texas – country fried steak also another test – again, did not disappoint. The service was exceptional and I’m honestly looking forward to returning again and again.

Good stuff… will be returning again and again. Reminded me of the old school cafes I went to in my home town in the 70’s… french dip was very delicious. A friend had the chicken fried steak and eggs breakfast plate and he absolutely destroyed it short of licking the plate!
