Fantastic! Great ambience and perfect music. (Frank Sinatra) Artwork (photos) are inspired by the “rat pack” era. We’re local, and love this place, as it takes us back in time to the good ol days! It has an old supper club feel and our waiter Josh was awesome and his recommendations were on point. Drinks were yummy and the T-bone steak was cooked perfectly. The owner, Greg Ball has done it again! Highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed a lovely happy hour with our server, Theresa. All of the staff is attentive and the food is delicious. The prime rib with Italian peppers sandwich is delightful. The Monroe is a delicious cocktail. Can’t wait to be back!

Really enjoyed my meal last night at Jack’s Chophouse! Theresa took care of my table and had awesome recommendations for food and drinks. The bone marrow was some of the best I have ever had. Our ribeye was cooked to perfection and the candied Brussel sprouts lived up to the hype. Will be back soon to try happy hour!

On a recent trip to Fort Cavazos (formerly Fort Hood) and venturing down to Fredericksburg, TX, I was recommended Jack’s Chophouse as a dinner destination. What a recommendation that turned out to be! A cozy and inviting atmosphere and likely the best steak and oysters I’ve ever had. To be fair, I don’t consider myself a foodie, but this was easily recognizable as the pinnacle of my dining experiences. The establishment was clean and neat and the staff were friendly and professional. With dinner, I ordered one of Jack’s signature drinks, the Churchill, and just like the meal the drink was first class. The bar and drink selection rivals anything I’ve seen and the bar area was filled with people relaxing, laughing, and socializing. If you’re in the area, give Jack’s Chophouse a look. It’ll provide you with a familiar neighborhood feel with a five star experience. I look forward to getting back there in the near future. Do yourselves a favor and go!

So glad we stubbled upon Jack’s! I really enjoyed the JKF theme as a native Bostonian from the decor to the Jackie O cocktail. My heritage is half Italian half Irish so I’m a tough critic but food was unequivocally AMAZING. Service was also excellent- thanks Suzanne!

Jack’s Chophouse is hands down the best steakhouse I have ever eaten at. The overall atmosphere is elegant yet has a feeling of comfort and welcoming. The entire staff the manager to the head chef came by our table to check on us. I highly recommend the oysters best you will find anywhere in the south!

We decided to make the mile and a half walk to this restaurant from our VRBO in the blazing Texas sun and it was worth every sweltering step! The steak literally melted in our mouths. The mashed potatoes were rich and heavenly and the brusselsprouts were the perfect mix of sweet and savory with a crisp in every bite. Jacob was singing jazz/swing music and his voice was the perfect addition to the ambience.
