Food is decent, would recommend the fried pickles and waffle fries nachos. I got the big bear burger.. juicy and good. Service is slow…. To me service is everything, it could make or break a business. Waited over 20 mins for our appetizers and currently waiting for our check… been waiting for our check for at least 20 mins. Our waitress is no we’re to be found. Not sure if she forgot about us or not. Service with kerry is horrible in my opinion. She is nice and all but just not attentive to our table of 4. I see other tables getting in and out quick…. Not sure what the hold up on us is.

The food used to be good but not anymore. This was supposed to be a blaze’s patty melt on Texas toast. 1. It’s on regular bread and 2. It’s BURNT, not cooked medium like I asked for. I won’t be back.

Delicious food and excellent bartender. (Katie and Kendall are the bomb) Mac n Cheese and the hotdogs are to die for! We will be frequenting this hidden gem.

The best restaurant to visit in Mt. Holly. The place doesn’t have that much seating but we sat down right away, due to the time we visited. The only one negative thing is that you have to scan a QR code on your phone for the menu. On Saturdays it is 3 dollar Bloody Mary’s and if you enjoy these make sure that you order one. For an appetizer I got the deep fried sweet cherry peppers that was served with Ranch. Their menu here has so much to choose from and the burgers here are massive. I chose the Blue Bayou burger that had blue cheese, caramelized onions, bacon, balsamic reduction and mayo on a toasted brioche bun. Also we had the Puppy’s Patty Melt that had cheddar and pepper jack cheese, caramelized onions on Texas Toast.

My first experience at this establishment was phenomenal. So I decided to go back and the service was slow and dry. I gave it another chance (3s a charm) and I sat at the bar for 10 minutes while the bartender waited on existing customers, had cheerful conversations with them. Until I was approached, I told her I had been sitting here for 10 minutes and gave her my drink order. She told the other female staff with glasses and she rolled their eyes, and kept on with her day. Please hire cheerful, friendly, unbias staff.

We waited too long to be greeted by a waitress. When we finally got drinks, the waitress knocked over my dad’s bottle of beer. She wiped the table but made no offer to replace his beer. I think we waited 45 minutes for food. Food was good but the experience wasn’t good.

Good food, poor service. Of note, the vibe and atmosphere is nothing like the other Charlotte locations… it’s basically Mt Holly’s nicest bud light on tap bar. Would recommend getting food to go and eat it across the street at Summit Bottle shop, where there’s a wider drink selection and much more inviting, attentive staff.

Green hair waitress Adriana was very rude. Rolled her eyes multiple times and never once offered refills. Had to ask both times to get them after drinks sat empty. Very slow service as well, I understand it’s busy but it’s not impossible to stop by for a quick “everything good so far”. Won’t be back

Now I see what all the fuss is about. We started out with the Fried Cherry Peppers and Fried Pickles. He had the Loco Lobo Cheese steak with a side of Blue-Black-Mac. Very delicious but incredibly spicy. I had Big Bear Burger….mmmmmmm it’s a wonderful blend of fresh chuck, sirloin and ground round.2 patties,3x bacon and 2x cheese. I opted to leave off the jalapeno but the chipotle aioli was spot on. I had the Classic Mac for my side. $71 including the tip and worth every cent. Our waitress Maddie was also very sweet and attentive.
