Great service from Jackie. Fast, too!The chicken tenders were just that…tender. Crisp not a hard and crunchy batter. So delicious. They were definitely hand battered. They were not those nasty frozen tenders that you find everywhere now. The pizza was good. It did not taste like a dolled up Digornos. The crust wasn’t chewy like I prefer, but it was tender and tasty. The Alfredo was meh. We ate outside on the deck, so we got away from the smoke smell and TV’S. It was simple and quiet. The bathrooms were very clean. We are happy to find a new place to stop on our way through Brownwood. We’ll definitely go back!

The jalapeno sausage kolaches were delicious. Donuts were very good and the coffee was excellent. What was most Pleasant about my visit to this donut shop is that it was very inexpensive compared to other donut shops. Got half a dozen glazed donuts with 3 kolaches and a coffee for just under $12. Normally 2 kolaches and a couple donuts with a cup of coffee is like $16 at a different location so I was very surprised at the affordability at this place. On top of that the quality of the food is good.

The Crazy Lemon is a great local bar on the Courthouse Square in Brownwood TX. Don and Jackie who operated Jack-A-Don’s food truck which specialized in Pizza, Chicken, and Fried Foods took over the establishment after the long time owner Don Jones retired. They have daily drink specials, free pool on Wednesdays, and some of the best bar food in town. There are a couple of other watering holes in Brownwood TX, but The Crazy Lemon is the place I’ll always recommend. Maybe I’ll see you there!

Came in town to install a roof, Drove 40 minutes to try their pizza and hospitality, both were top notch; period! Very pleased with the food, service, and environment! Definitely recommend trying this spot!

By far the best pizza and chicken in town. A welcome reprieve from all of Brownwood’s other dining options (fast food and chains.) Cannot wait for them to move into a permanent location but still hope to see their food truck rolling around. they really are a local GEM

Really am not a bar patron, but that being said it was nice to be able to have some drinks and food with friends and family and not worry about loud atmosphere, and heavy smoke or feeling like we were in the way. Honestly enjoyed myself so much. Will prolly not try other bars anytime soon.
