Finally, an actual good slice of pizza in South Amboy! The vodka chicken Parm is great, the grandma Sicilian was amazing. The sauce is appropriately tangy (not sickly sweet like other places in town). I can’t believe it took me this long to find this spot, but I’m glad I have.

Great food with great prices. You really can’t go wrong with whatever you order here. My personal favorites are the grandma pie and regular with cherry peppers and sausage

I spent like 22 23 dollars on a grandma pie and they didnt even make it right. Instead of sause they used just chunks of tomatos. No pesto, no basil. Only part they got right was the cheese. I dont know who you say youre an Italian food place and cant make the most basic of food. Plus it was expensive for just one pie. I wouldve just spent the extra 2 bucks at Don Giovanni

Hidden gem, got the grandma pie to go and didn’t disappoint. Great flavor, perfect garlic kick and crust with actual flavor. Would pick over the other big name places in town

I grew up here and visit family. I always make a point in stopping here. Just a plain slice or two. That’s the acid test of any pizzeria. Don’t need Buffalo Chicken, or Cheese Steak pies. J&S reminds me of the time that S. Amboy used to have pretty good pizzerias (like the Hillcrest, Gay 90’s, etc). Love their pie and I live down in the Asbury Park/Long Branch area where great pizzerias are all around me. Next time in, I’ll try a Grandma’s. But I have to tell ya, that nothing beats a fresh pie out of their oven.

Sautéed onion in olive oil with salt and pepper on a pizza is disgusting but what you get if you order onion as a topping on a pizza. Calzones are good; total rip off you HAVE TO BUY THE SAUCE TO GO WITH IT. The owner always looks at me funny when I go in and he is working.
