Never a bad meal from here. Whether it’s takeout or dining in, the meals are always spot on. Especially around St. Patrick’s Day, where they celebrate all week long. Best corned beef in all of the Buffalo/WNY area!

Had out of town guest here from Seattle , an expat from Hamburg was hungry for a roast beef sandwich so I brought him here , only to be served one of the worst roast beef sandwiches I’ve ever had , the meat was way too rare , grissly , stringy couldn’t finish one bite . Told them it was inedible it didn’t matter , paid for it and threw it away .

A family owned business (40 years) that has good food at great prices. The wait staff (sometimes one of the family) is efficient and very friendly. I went with three friends, two had sub sandwiches, one had an asparagus salad and I had to try the “famous” Reuben. All were of good quality and quantity. Decent number of beers on tap, with a mixture of craft and mass-market beers at reasonable prices. Atmosphere is like an old-time tavern, nothing fancy but very comfortable place to have a meal or just hang out and watch a game.
