The food was excellent. My only issue is I can’t have salt. I know it’s in the seasoning. If they can remove that I will come more often. If you can eat salt it’s fried to perfection.

The chicken was good with lemon pepper and hot and mild sauce. But when asked about cat fish tail, he would not sell them he said they were to small he would be embarrassed . We offer to pay anyway because we no longer live in Illinois. We came visiting from North Carolina. He still would not sell. So now we have to go to another jj to get them.

I ordered a large catfish and got swai.. I specifically asked if it was catfish and not swai… I was told it was catfish. I got where I was going and was furious! I will not patronize this place again! Selling cheap nasty fish at catfish prices!!

Food was good. Fried chicken was crisp and hot. Mild sauce is delicious! Portions for fries, chicken and fish are generous. One person in our group needed his fish cooked a certain way which they accommodated, no problem. Just wish the coleslaw was a bigger portion.
