From start to finish an exceptional experience. We had 6 p. Reservations and were promptly seated with our choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We opted for 2 appetizers, 3 small plates and a bottle of Italian Rose. The service was outstanding. Cleared our plates between courses, kept the rose chilled and the glasses full but never warm. The food was amazing. We left very satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Went here on a whim, and thankfully someone didn’t show for their reservation so I got a seat at the chef’s table next to the bar. Ordered the sous vide egg with gnocchi and mushrooms, an old fashioned, the strawberry glazed porkchop, the bleu cheese cheesecake, and a pot of coffee.

Got to say, we had some of the best food that we have had in East Tennessee at JC Holdway. We ordered a wild variety from the menu, mussels, paté, pasta, pea salad, pork loin, trout, bac choy, cornbread plus desserts! Every dish was a hit! Fantastic flavors, interesting combinations, perfectly prepared. We got excellent service from Cailee ( who told us to order how we wanted and she would make it come out right, and it did!), and going above and beyond was Adam the maitre d ( or manager?). He had a separate off menu meal prepared for my mother who is allergic to everything. He also made my daughter feel special for her graduation dinner with sincere kind words; real service not just going through the motions. To top everything off the chairs were comfy, and the decor spot on. (Sorry not many photos, we dug in too fast!)

An impressive, service-food-experience focused restaurant. Steven & Kennedy are an impressive team and had such personal professionalism. Every dish was delicious and unique. The blend of flavors in the cantaloupe-peach gazpacho was incredible. Don’t miss the hush puppies as a start. Share the small plates and the pasta plates are perfect sizes for our entrees. It was a memorable experience.

Loved it from start to finish. We tried the carrot and peanut hummus to start, and it was so unique. The risotto was heavenly, and the gnocchi had such a special twist with a delicious broth. It was cool to try a variety of items because the dishes were small. The servers literally doted on us all night, and brought out an extra dessert because we were celebrating our engagement. Great work from server Miranda and the whole team. I loved watching everyone working in the kitchen.
