Pretty good local pizza place. Their crust is thin and crisp but not like cracker crust. The cafeteria style seating was more comfortable than expected. Our Club sandwich was toasted but not warm in the middle.

Nice service. Food wasn’t great. Pizza is pretty good but the mamma mia is chicken nuggets in marinara and cheese that didn’t melt. Not an actual chicken parm.

We ate for the first time there tonight. We had a personal pizza and meatball sub combo, with 2 drinks for around $20!!!, and it was all good! WE will def go back. Nice family atmosphere and affordable good pizza. I like the thinner type crust like they make it, not too many carbs, still fills you up. See you again soon!

Great food, service was ok. The young man that took my order could care less, or so it seemed. I accidentally spilled my sweet tea and immediately asked for a mop or something so I didn’t use a ton of napkins (they didn’t absorb anything). He did bring me towels and sort of left. As I cleaned up, the young man (who had glasses) came over and offered to finish cleaning.

The pizza is second to none. The salad is strictly lettuce cores, which makes it taste abhorrent. Otherwise it would be all great if they could figure out how to put lettuce in their salad instead of putting it all on a sandwich. So if you’re remotely interested in any kind of salad here, plan on it being yellow lettuce cores.

Great pizza place in Lakeland. They serve thin and crispy pizza, cut into bite size squares. Available in 7″, 12″ or 16″ sizes. Choose from signature pizzas or build your own. Subs, salads and boneless wings are also available. Order at the counter and the food is brought to your table. Drinks are self-serve. Take-out and online ordering available.

J. Burns is a quaint and off the map pizza parlor! This isn’t your run of the mill pizza place, it’s really got some class and character, and I love it.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would. My first hint this was gonna be a bad experience was when I asked to have garlic on my pizza and was told they didn’t have garlic…at all…in a pizza joint. I should have just hung up. The kid answering the phone is rude, very uninterested in his job. The pizza tastes like frozen momma Celeste cardboard pizza, but worse. I ate one bite and tossed the whole pizza. They couldn’t even be bothered to cut the pizza into slices. Total waste of $27.00…

This was my very first time at J. Burn’s Pizza shop. The staff seemed friendly and the individual that took my order talked to me about their rewards program. She even asked if I needed assistance with signing up she would be happy to help. I ordered a veggie large pie and a Greek salad. The pizza was very good, good flavor. However, my Greek salad was not good! The lettuce tasted old and looked very wilted . I will probably be back for pizza, but will no longer order a salad.
