Wow so glad we found this place!! Family owned and cooked to order with fresh ingredients. They specialize in big steaks but I love their catfish. They have a pretty wide selection if you do not want steak. They also give you an option to order smaller portions which works good for me!

The food was prepared perfectly. The service was even better. Especially considering we arrived about 90 minutes before close.

I went with three other people, I had the split steak meal with someone, and it was probably the worst steak I’ve ever had. Not to mention, I’m of the group of people that thinks a good steak doesn’t near sauce. So when my steak came out with sauce already on it, it should have been a red flag. Furthermore, I’m ok with a bit of fat cap or cut on my steak. I actually like the fat, but when I’d say 60% of your steak is fat, it’s less acceptable.

Food was good. Not all of our steaks or food was cooked as requested: ordered fried gator received grilled gator, medium steak cooked well done. Regardless, the food was still good and server was kind.

“Well done“ is something of anathema to anyone who appreciates a good steak. The very fact that this place incorporates the phrase in the name of establishment, lets you know in advance that we are not dealing with a Ruth’s Chris, hell, we are not even dealing with a Golden corral .They had absolutely no draft selection, and their bottled beer selection was almost nonexistent. My wife and I attempted to order the same type of different beers twice, only to be told by a rather sheepish waitress that she only had one bottle of beer per brand… seriously.

Food was edible but extremely overpriced. This was my husband’s 38 dollar plate. I get better looking steak at Walmart and I don’t know what was done to the macaroni. It came with 3 pieces of broccoli.

The food was good and the service was very friendly. The best part was the privacy. There are alot of tall booth walls separating you from others. I appreciate that privacy.

Fish was great. Steak was a little bland. Seems prices are going up and serving size is going down. But that’s everywhere.

Got the 16 oz sirloin and they did a fantastic job so was the service even though they were short of staff.

I have eaten here several times through the years and have so many good memories. It used to be a great place to go. I gave it 4 stars because the food was really good, but everything else was not. The problem is with management because most of the staff is ill trained. The hostess sat us in one of many open tables, but the waitress in our section complained. It took 15 minutes to even be asked for our drink order, because our waitress was freaking out and apparently didn’t realize she could take drink orders for more than one table at the time. Same thing with ordering food. It was shocking, as someone who used to wait tables, how many unnecessary trips she made instead of multitasking. Then, we along with other tables, had several dirty dishes piled on the end of our tables, and yet they busser stood off to the side until everyone was gone. Why not ask if the table is done with those dishes and go ahead and take them away? I really hope they improve in the future, because poor management, disrespect between employees, miscommunication, and lack of training is plaguing this restaurant.
