This food reminds me of my girlfriends grandma’s cooking and that is crazy since she is the . I had the shrimp, steak, and fish tacos and they were my favorite in that order. The shrimp I noticed isn’t like “deep fried” in a batter but more of a lighter fry. The sauces on all three tacos were amazing and pulled them together along with the amazing hand made corn tortillas. The attention to detail and quality of the food was unmatched. These were the best tacos I have ever had and I can’t wait to come back next time I am in town. Additionally the fried ice cream and plantains fransecas were to die for and I would even risk going to see the titanic in a submarine just to get one more bite.

Izzy’s is an absolute gem. The food was so good and the tortillas so authentic that we spoke to the Honduran owner and found out about how much work her family puts into making fresh tortillas daily and hand preparing all of the ingredients and sauces. We are a mix of Costa Rican, Mexican and we lived in Colombia for many years… and we were impressed with everything. Not only was the food fantastic, there homemade ice cream was a big hit with kids and grandparents alike, and they even have freshly ground Honduran coffee treats. We’ll DEFINITELY be back! My daughter is begging to come back for dinner. They do close the kitchen at 7pm Tues-Thurs and at 8pm Fri-Sat, but they’re open one hour later than that for ice cream. Every member of my family joins me in HIGHLY recommending Izzy’s.

WOW. THIS FOOD REMINDS ME OF MY GRANDMAS TACOS ITS THAT GOOD. Everything tastes so fresh and authentic, every bite reminded me of dishes I have had in my hispanic/mexican household. My favorite taco was the street steak, and you can tell that their tortillas are made in the kitchen! I had never tried fried icecream before but it was not a disappointment. The yuca fries were also amazing! I loved every bit of this authentic and comfortable restaurant.

A must stop. You gotta get somethin ice cream aaaaaaand somethin food. Not just 1. This is the way. Izzy’s is our always must stop on our way to or from the beach. Usually both. The staff are the most polite group of teens ever assembled outside of the Disney channel. (We’re always in the ToGo window…they may have full adults inside…) Hard to find good gluten free food (especially fried) so the fried fish tacos are usually a standard with whatever else we’re tryin that day. I’ve tried every taco on the list, they’re all worth a retry. The ice cream is also always exceptional. My new joy of life is their affagato. Espresso, ice cream, caramel,& whip cream….tis stranger slapping good. Just give it a try, be NICE, & tip. It’ll be worth it all.

We have stopped by here about half a dozen times in the past few years and always enjoy the experience. Haven’t had the tacos yet but the ice cream and the service is always top notch!

Nice little place to stop to get a good meal. Some indoor seating but mostly outdoor. Fresh delicious food and a really wide menu to please all. Amazing tacos in all kinds of varieties: pictured are an American, Greek, and Hawaiian taco. They are also able to make decent fries, which is a plus. Reasonable prices and everyone leaves happy.

On a whim, after walking on the beach, we decided to drop in and check this place out. Super chill, great vibes and super good food. I had some of the best fish tacos I’ve ever had here in Florida, comparable to LA, and the portobello mushroom tacos were super good if you need a vegetarian option.

Amazing tacos and even more delicious ice cream. My group ordered two varieties of tacos and a burrito bowl and all of the meals hit the cravings spot! Instead of ordering another round of tacos, we all opted to get their homemade ice cream…and I cannot emphasize enough how much we enjoyed our cones! I had the raspberry chip which was a well textured sorbet type treat loaded with mini chocolate chips. The coffee and butter pecan I heard were equally satisfying. I forgot to take photos of the food since we scarfed it down so fast! Updated with photos from my second visit!

Food was excellent. They had good vegetarian options. I wish I would have taken a pic of my food to share. They were friendly and fast. I received all my cutlery, napkins and sauces. Food was hot and fresh. It’s a small establishment so it was stuffy and hot inside but overall good experience.
