One of the only places you can get dark meat chicken. It’s really great and seasoned well. Place needs a little bit of a remodel. It looks just like it did 20 years ago. Needs some cleanup on the ceiling tiles and walls for sure.

The food was awesome and the customer service was great. The young gentleman behind the counter named Andrew was very efficient and ran circles around his coworkers. He had great customer interaction, and deserves a raise or promotion. He made our experience very pleasurable. Would highly recommend.

Reliable food With generous servings. Their bowls are a good value for money. They have plenty of vegetarian items to choose from. They have a salsa bar with some pretty spicy options. The staff members are nice and helpful. Being close to the university it might get a bit busy during lunch hours.

Ordered food at 3:33 to be picked up at 5. Showed up early at 4:45 and the order was already packed up in a bag, guy at the counter says oh yeah we just got this done. 5 minutes to get home, opened my order and it was stone cold – not warm, luke warm, or cool it was cold and stale. They clearly made the order as soon as it went through and didn’t pay attention to the pickup time and lied to me when I came to pick it up.

Not going to lie, I don’t even get mad at food services. I work in a restaurant and understand it can be hard. But I just went to Izzos. I unwrap the foil to a split open burrito once I sit down to eat. After they did not listen to my boyfriend and charged us for a super burrito when his is the exact size (actually smaller) than my regular. He asked for a super and we were charged for it not realizing till we got home. We also got the larger meal deal. I was given a small drink and when I asked her if this was the large she didn’t respond and just handed me the cup. Also, from the start I couldn’t hear a word she was saying and I had to correct her on parts of the order as she was making it, I did not feel listened to at all. I was also charged for seasoned chicken when I got plain. Probably not going back. Chipotle it is.

Darrell was the sweetest worker ever! He was kind and greeted us when we walked in the door, and made my bowl just right! Izzos is always my go-to!

The service here is always peasant! The food is so good. Sometimes when you request chips on the side they put chips in a container VS in a bag which I don’t like but when I ask them to change the chip storage to a bag they usually do.

In my observations the food is often cold, and the burritos have very little flavor. In my opinion their meat and other burrito toppings have a flavorless and rubbery texture. Overall it was not a good dinning experience in my opinion and I could not recommend this restaurant to a friend as the food had a very bland taste. I was also very disappointed in the preparation of the food. The wrapping looks good,to but it seems to me that there is no substance to the flavor and preparation of the food beneath. They have color oordinated flavored tortillas, but these tasted very bland as well and only served to color the burritos. Perhaps training and actual cooking skills for their crew would be a good start because to say it seemed lackluster would be too generous in my opinion.
