Let me just start this review by saying the 3 star review has nothing to do with the food. Had I ordered for take out, I probably would have given Izumi 5 stars. We ordered steak and shrimp, and kids steak meals, was asked if we wanted noodles with our order and we all said yes. The chef came and cooked our meal, the chef put on a good show and the food was great. Steaks and shrimps were soft and perfectly cooked, the rice was flavorful, the vegetables were good, as were the noodles. After the meal, we receive the bill and found out each of us who got noodles were charged 5 dollars per meal for noodles. Not a big deal, but wasn’t communicated to us at all. I then give; who I believe was the owner, my credit card to pay for the meal and she took it upon herself to add a $39.99 tip. The tip was a justifiable amount for the bill however, I did not appreciate them adding a tip to my bill without saying anything. If gratuity is included with the bill, that’s completely different, however, she just decided upon herself to tip this amount and add it to my card. I probably won’t be going back and that’s a real shame because the food as I said was great.

Hibachi is always worth watching the chef’s work their magic. Very skilled cooks and super engaging with their audience! Everything was cooked to perfection and was fantastic. The staff was very catering and checked up on us often.

A favorite for years…Christmas, farther/mother’s day, now my birthday. The food and drinks always is above and beyond expectations as is the show. They treat us like family. Truly a great experience. I’LL BE BACK

I was able to drop by Izumi on a Sunday afternoon after having a craving for sushi. I originally wanted some traditional pieces of nigiri but after looking at the menu, the sushi boat was the way to go. I swapped out two of the rolls for a small additional charge but couldn’t have been happier with the meal. We were greeted and sat at the sushi bar. Received some ice cold Sapporo beer almost immediately after placing an order and got to watch our boat be crafted in front of the bar which was done in minutes. We also got a soup and salad which was great on a cold day. The sushi itself was incredibly fresh and had great flavor. We even got a small portion of their seafood ceviche which was heavenly. After the meal, I felt satisfied and lucky to try this new sushi spot. Give Izumi a try if you can. They even had hibachi which had a few tables taken with a birthday party. Looking forward to my next visit!

Went out to dinner here and we will never be returning. Everything felt rushed, we walked in the door and instead of a hostess seating us we were told to sit anywhere. We picked a booth to sit at and the waiter then came over and asked us to move seats. I ordered steak Hibachi and my girlfriend ordered steak and shrimp. The waiter never asked how we wanted our steak cooked when he took the order. The food came out and both of our steaks were hardly cooked. We politely asked they cook it further until it was medium well. They took both our plates to the back for a total of 3 minutes and brought our same plates with our half eaten food on it back out to us with what appeared to be just more sauce, the meat was still just as raw and wasn’t even warm to the touch. We complained again and the manager came over. She then sat there and told us it was our fault the meat was undercooked because we didn’t tell the waiter we wanted it medium well. Which on our original plate I could agree on, but when we complained we wanted it cooked further and you brought the plates out both with visibly undercooked meat that is no longer our fault for not saying anything. We were charged full price for everything we ordered and not a single sorry for the bad experience. Save your money and don’t come here. They don’t care about the customer at all!

Went for lunch. Ordered hibachi. When the bill came they charged us the dinner hibachi. When I questioned this they said we thought you wanted the dinner portion and that is what the chef served you. Why would you assume I wanted the dinner portion at lunch and serve me such. Why wouldn’t you ask. So he thought he was doing me a favor by meeting me half way on the cost (lunch meal was $16 and dinner meal was $26 – huge difference). I am sure they do this to everyone at lunch! Won’t go back. Sorry!!!

They really missed the mark on this one. Ordered through uber eats, they sent it /w the food open in a cardboard box. Uber driver was also surprised. Food was bland, basic, uninspired and disappointing and we paid $71 for this nonsense. Avoid!
