My experience at Izakaya Tora was a culinary journey that transported my taste buds to the heart of Japan. The menu’s artful fusion of traditional izakaya dishes and modern twists left me intrigued and delighted. The sashimi was impeccably fresh, each slice melting in the mouth with an oceanic sweetness. This was a nice break away from the strip and delivered some amazing food. The whole entire staff was super friendly and was there to make your meal an enjoyable one. The food we ordered (grilled skewers and appetizers) were absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. This place was exactly what we needed after spending a few days in Vegas.

From the food, to the aesthetic ambiance, to the service was top notch. This is one of the best izakaya spots that’s opened til 2am! Although the prices may bit slightly higher than other izakaya spots, the reason this spot shines more than others is its quality fish and portion sizes to their dishes. Especially the yakitoris. They’re definitely bigger portions than other izakaya’s I’ve tried. Their spicy negitoro was something I’ve never tried and very delicious. Salmon kama was just chef’s kiss. My fav go to’s everytime I’m feeling yakitori would be here. The beef/wagyu/jidoro chicken yakitori was so good I had to order more for myself ♂️ Shout to to the chef’s, the staff, and SJ for making this experience wonderful for my friends and I!

We had an excellent meal here last night. We ordered one of each yakitori, the salmon crunch roll, potato salad, and tokyo fried chicken. Everything was delicious, but the standouts were the ume shiso thigh skewer, rib finger skewer, and the fried chicken. The fish in the sushi was fresh. We’re excited to see their menu expand, both food and beverage. We’ll be back for sure!
