One of my top go-to recommendations for delicious drinks and food in the city! I love their drinks especially their sake selection and cocktails (can’t beat $13 HH cocktails)! My must orders are the tako wasabi, any of their raw sashimi dishes, and the chicken thigh and scallion yakitori. The raw seafood always taste so fresh and their seasoned seafood dish has this subtle citrus flavor that never fails to incite a “yum.” Definitely visit if you’re looking for a place to drink and eat with good vibes and friendly service.

Incredible experience. A reliable local go-to place for an easy dinner or group event, this restaurant never disappoints. Service is excellent and the food is amazing. Six of us shared several rolls and the vegetable tempura, plus a couple of plates of the Sushi Nomad, and it was just a fun experience.

Truly the best izakaya in the city. I always try something new. Nothing ever disappoints. Great friendly staff/ incredibly prepared food. if you need a recommendation, the grilled teriyaki calamari, Kakuni(braised pork)is the best way to go. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Cozy izakaya spot! Wing skewer was really unique and worth a try. Rice balls were tasty too. Can’t go wrong here! Generous beer happy hour during the week

My group of 16 visited Izakaya Nomad last Wednesday and had a great experience. I did have to contact them through their website to request the reservation, and they got back to me in around 48 hours. I put down my credit card info and signed an authorization form for a hold of $50.

It was just a walk-in without any prior info because it was right next to my hotel.

Food was good, I really enjoyed sashimi. Tuna tartar was great, but to much lemon. the only thing I didn’t like when hosted told me I have only 1 hour and 30 min for dinner to finish it, they have another client who booked the table.

We were for and O/N in NYC and chose here because of previous great experience. Wonderful food once again, everything is extremely tasty, full of flavor. On picture: beef tataki on L and Godzilla Roll on R (both recommended!). The 4 stars is because it is quite pricey…
