Decided to give it a try for lunch. The salsa for the chips was good, and the refried beans with the chips and salsa was something I’d never seen before.

Best Nachos! Best Margarita! “Build your own Nachos” is what we always get, along with the House Special Margarita made with fresh squeezed orange and lime juice — no triple sec! We’ve been on the hunt for better nachos than what we can do at home and this is it! The nachos are on a small sheet pan with parchment paper then the corn tortillas and toppings. The chips are toasted just right. The cheese is melted and toasted just right, too. Ask for the blackened salsa, the depth of the roasted flavors are sublime. Stanwood is a bit of a drive from Seattle but we make a point of stopping here whenever we are in the area.

Clean and comfortable, great service and tasty food. Good selection on the menu. The only negative is that drinks are a little pricey. Overall, really nice experience and worth a try!

It’s was fastest services I have ever had in a while. In and out with in an hour or less. We walked in and got seated right away. We got our chips and salsa and ordered out food. We got our food within minutes it felt like. Super fast. Our burrito was good for a burrito not the best but good and the corn was just okay. It usually love the corn when i get this at other restaurants but this one tasted funny. It was very tangy and had a weird after taste. They server were nice and came to check on us. We might try this place again

Food was good and beer was nice and tall! Our server was very friendly and prompt and he did a great job! I’m not sure what exactly it was but something about the place just didn’t wow me in some way I was hoping. Honestly go check it out and try it and see for yourself! I might try again

We stumbled upon this restaurant close to closing time. Looked a bit like a Don Jose’s or El torito from the exterior, I wrong about that. The house made chips were some of the best I’ve ever had so thin and cri6, the salsa was very good but I didn’t eat much it was too spicy for me, they also serve their chips with a little dish of beans. oh my God so good. I had been craving a tamale, and ended up with three item combo. A pork tamale, a mole enchilada, and a chile relleno that didn’t seem to be fried but instead was wrapped in egg like a tiny omelette. Everything tasted fantastic, the Chile Reyno was not what I expected and was not hot but tasted good nevertheless. The mole sauce was a pleasant surprise to see on the menu had a beautifully complex flavor without too much heat. And the tamale hit the spot after having craved it. I don’t live near this restaurant but will definitely seek it out whenever in the area. My dinner companion who unbeknownst to me is very picky about Mexican food also loved this place and saved it in her maps as well to return to. Next time I will order extra chips and beans to take home.

Pretty tasty food and an authentic feel. The salsa had a kick at the end of your chews so be prepared. The flavour of the food was great and the portions left you full at the end.

Amazing food! I got the nachos, I’m a farm kid and couldn’t eat all of the plate. There was so much meat and cheese. My wife got the table side guacamole and was a fun experience. Wife got chicken quesadilla. She looked happy.
