You have to order at the counter and then someone will bring your food to you. My meal came out very fast, I would say less than 10 mins. The atmosphere is very quiet and not as busy as I would thought during lunch time. The decor is very cute. The only thing is you must beware of the water cup because they write the name of the restaurant in permanent marker so it WILL rub off on your fingers.

Friendly and helpful staff. We were confused about the vegetarian options. The staff at the counter was very helpful and explained us properly what all is available for us if we are looking for vegetarian options. And also helped us choose the best dish from the menu. It was a good experience overall.

Wow. Talk about a surprise! Itton ramen is VERY unassuming, nestled in with apartments and a shopping mall. Even so, having lived in Japan for 3 years, I can say this is probably one of the best (tonkotsu) ramens I’ve had since moving back (the other being Kazama Ramen on Eat Street). Their specialty is tonkotsu ramen, so rejoice if you like pork-bone-broth ramen. I had a taste of the spicy ramen with ground pork, and I can highly recommend that too. Furthermore, I was served some of the best takoyaki (fried octopus balls) I’ve had (including in Japan) and their pickled radish is amazing. Seriously, I was extremely impressed – give it a shot, you won’t be disappointed. Unfortunately, they don’t have their liquor license yet, so you can’t pair ramen with a crisp cold beer, but SOON I’m told. 10/10 would come again!

OMG! Amazing is an understatement for how good this is!!! The next time I’m close in the area I’m ordering two of these. I took half of this home and reheated the broth in a skillet/pan until hot then added the noodles, so not to over cook them. It was perfect, i just wish i had more, hence the ordering of two next time.

Such good ramen! We stayed in Japan for 3 months and have had so much ramen since being back, and this place is definitely the best we’ve had in the twin cities. Will be a new staple for us

Spicy miso. Thin perfectly cooked noodles. Thin sliced pickled garlic. Chili oil level is good. Best heaven/hell on earth, MNisota edition.

We ordered the classic tonkatsu and spicy miso ramen. They were generous with the noodles and little light on the broth. I liked the toothy noodles. Broth wasn’t memorable. My son liked the pork belly but I thought it was a bit over cooked.

The decoration inside the store is very unique and beautiful. The food is delicious especially the Chinese Beef Noodles. The service is also very attentive, even if there is no waiter, they will still try to serve the guests when they are not busy.
