The first impression was not what quite what I was expecting. All the food was put in disposable cartons, but I understand they’re moving. I bought the turkey meal. The turkey was good and moist with decent flavor mixed from the gravy. I definitely could’ve used more of the stuffing. The potato salad was just ok. The highlight was the corn bread. It was slightly sweet and good and moist.

My wife and I initially really liked this little spot. It’s not much of a dine-in spot, but for a quick bite or take-out it was a really solid options. Their burgers had a nice variety and their special secret sauce they use for their meatloaf is amazing (I asked them to sell me a bottle of it, but they politely declined).

I love this restaurant! They have some of the best burgers in town. Who ever thought peanut butter and jelly would work on a burger?!?! Well let me be the one to tell you that it’s oddly delicious and one of my faves on the menu. If you’re looking for something more traditional, definitely try the Beef Tips and Rice. Yummy! And don’t forget to get a Large Strawberry Lemonade. You won’t regret it!!

I ate there for the first time yesterday. I was not impressed at all. The chicken was two different colors, dry & not even a serving size. The rice was not seasoned good and the collard greens taste like it had a bunch of sugar added. I know everyone’s taste buds are different, but this did not appeal to mine. My husband said the hotdogs were good, just cooked too long. The German chocolate cake was kind of dry. I will not be returning, but i wish them much success.

I stopped in today 4 lunch as I was running errands. The restaurant was quiet because they had first opened. The dining area is fairly easy to navigate and table spacing is adequate. I had a burger and macaroni and cheese for a side with coffee to drink. The coffee was really delicious, the mac and cheese was excellent and the burger was okay although it was somewhat smaller than what I thought it would be. The server attended to me well and check back with me a few times throughout my visit to see if I needed anything. The menu seemed a little too expensive for my taste, but the food was rather good.

Fourth time eating here, the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. The collard greens and mash potatoes were half size, the meat loaf was half size. The first time we ate here, we were impressed and shared with everyone but since then, the size and quality has diminished totally. Too expensive for serving size, and to still be hungry after eating your entire meal. Will not be going back. Can’t continue to pay $15 for 1/2 a meal. Three strikes, they are out!!

I’m so glad we discovered this place. They’ve never gotten our order wrong, the portion sizes are amazing, I can feed all 4 of us cheaper than grocery shopping, and the best part is, the food taste just like we spent hours in our kitchen making it ourselves.
