ItalX, an avant-garde Italian restaurant, is now open for weekend lunch and dinner six days a week at City Center.
The restaurant is located at 160 West Main Street. The team draws inspiration from Italy’s emphasis on simple, fresh, quality ingredients and inspired hospitality in a warm and inviting space. A twist on traditional Italian fare, the menu will feature multiple scratch-made pastas, reimagined small plates, vegetarian and gluten-free offerings, and everyone’s favorite desserts. Popular Italian dishes will be reinvented with elegant presentation. ItalX’s bar program offers extensive Italian wines from all regions of ‘the Boot’ and an inventive cocktail list, backed by house-made ingredients and Italian liqueurs.

Absolutely incredible food. Likely some of the best Italian I’ve had in a long time. Add to the fact the pasta was freshly made! It was perfectly spicy with a wonderful amount of sauce. The cheesecake was gluten free so it had an odd texture but was still delicious. The whip cream on it though, THAT was beyond amazing. Soft, fluffy wonderful delight. Lastly, the fig old fashioned was refreshing and fun.

This restaurant is so sexy! Another outing with my Mom. The doors open to extend the room to the outside. Right on the corner and you can look in all directions from the big floor to ceiling windows. The menu offers many authentic Italian food selections. The wine wall is gorgeous! We will be back to try other options on the menu. The bruschetta appetizer offered several toppings that were Umami! All food was exceptional!!!

I loved this restaurant. I was pleased with how pleasant the atmosphere was. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the chicken carbonate and it was so flavorful. For dessert I indulged in the ricotta cheesecake.

Enjoyed a good meal with a variety of the offerings. This meal almost didn’t happen. I made a mistake on the booking app open table. I mistakenly booked for the following night. I went to the host stand and realized my mistake. The maitre d was rude unhelpful and told me it would be a 2 hour wait with multiple tables open in the restaurant. We left and was looking for another restaurant on open table and Italx had a table available 10 mins after my mistake. I booked the table and was seated promptly by another hostess. It’s frustrating when someone tells you there’s a problem but does nothing to help solve it. His dismissive handling of the situation would have cost the restaurant a $150 party.
