The food was very good. This was the last day of the original owners so we’re going to have to go back and try out the new chef. The cheesy bread which looks like a pizza was amazing. So freakin good. I hope the new owners keep that!

I have been here several times and it’s always been great. I always order the Asiago chicken. I went back today and they prepared it the worst I’ve ever had it. I’m pretty sure the chicken was boiled then microwaved. There was hardly any sauce. Just nothing like the place used to be. I’ll never go back. When we paid I guess they don’t even bother asking how everything was. Clearly they don’t care!

Have went there for 30+ years. Through their good times and numerous bad times. Tim, son of owner, got an order wrong just adding sauce. He didn’t come back for drinks or anything else, so we told another wonderful server what happened. She got the dish reordered. Meanwhile Tim is screaming at his mother the owner that He hates those people. Why do they come here. They are so f…ing everything. Meanwhile we can hear along with numerous other guests. Mother just keeps saying I know I know. He never did finish taking care of us at all. We paid the check and tipped the wonderful server that did take care of us and who has for years. She knows that order hasn’t had sauce on it EVER! Owner said he is looking for other employment and can’t come soon enough. I approached her and told her about hearing his tantrum that he does often. She said sorry. I even said to her we have supported their business for many years when many people quit going there for various reasons over the years. The food is great but the TANTRUMS OF TIM ARE NOT. NO ONE SHOULD EVER BE TREATED THAT WAY. ESPECIALLY AN 80 year old woman who didn’t order what he brought.

This place is truly outstanding we stop here every time we are in the area and have always had a great experience. The food, staff, prices are outstanding. Good places are hard to come by and you won’t be disappointed here.

Decent place.. if it was closer to the city I would have given it a 1/5 rating, but since it’s one of the best dinner options in the Dawson area it deserves a 2/5. The pastas were mediocre, the bruschetta came with almost-rotten tomatoes and string cheese which was really disappointing! The biggest positive is that the staff was really nice and courteous.

A bit of nostalgia walking into this place. I remember going to the Italian oven when I was a kid in hermitage PA until it shut down. I thought they all shut down until I saw this gem when I was passing through Connellsville. I ordered the pizza because that’s what I always used to get and it tasted just as I remembered. Everything we had was very good. The zucchini is amazing. I’ll definitely plan on stopping here again when I’m in the area.

Definitely better than the last time I was here. Food was good service was very good. Left completely full, and satisfied which is way more than I can say for the last time I was there. Which has been 4 or 5 years ago. Will be going back when I’m in the mood for veal again.

Introduced my family to this place for the first time. Everyone was very happy with each of their orders. Everything from a calzone to chicken parm to just a cheeseburger was spot on. Great app sampler as well as hot Italian bread. Staff was incredible. I can’t wait to go back.

A little bit of a wait but we were there on a Saturday around 5, so that was to be expected. The staff was very welcoming and managed the crowds as best as they could despite seeming to be down a few servers. Our food and service was excellent, and we will be back! 🙂
