First time I tried Jamaican food and it was delicious. Had chicken in a dark rich sauce that had great flavor and the meat fell off the bone. Good value too.

Amazing food and pleasing staff. I wasn’t sure what to pick, they gave me a sample. Will be coming back and definitely recommend!

I was not given the food I asked for. I was also not given the sauce I asked for. The rice is stale and the jerk chicken is missing flavor.

I recently went to this restaurant, I was born in the states and of Jamaican decent my parents are from Jamaica and my wife is from Jamaica. We felt for some Jamaican food and Living in trumbull we did not want to go to far into Bridgeport. This location is located in the nice area of Bridgeport which was a big plus. The service was good compared to most Jamaican restaurants where servers have bad attitudes so that was another plus. Food was also good would definitely come back for sure.

Proper customer service and restaurant management requires training, which is clearly lacking at this establishment. I ordered a salmon meal and without my consent and knowledge, shellfish gravy was going to be added to my meal. Maybe it’s not a big deal to many, but I don’t eat shellfish due to lifestyle and religious customs. I asked what gravy it was and shared that I don’t eat shellfish. I was told by the employee that SALMON and SHELLFISH are the SAME. For those of you who have GRAVE allergic reactions to shellfish or related religious customs, I’m sure you can concur that this isn’t true; they’re NOT the same food. The employee’s attitude was dismissive and immature. Restaurants should know about cross contamination with foods. To make matters worse, the food wasn’t good. Mi just nyam it fi nyam tru mi did hungry. That was my last visit and I won’t be recommending it anytime soon. 1 star given as 0 isn’t an option. Remember customers are thr bread and butter $$$$. Honor them.

With a little less salt and it’s 5 star food! Unfortunately you get service with a smile. Those who know, know!

i wish i could sit down and eat but the food was so good. I’m from New York & it’s hard to find good tasting food out here in CT. The food kinda helped me feel like i had jamaican food in nyc. I would recommend to anybody!
