Popped into the restaurant to try their chowder creamy hot delicious served in a steel bowl oysters crackers really enjoyed the soup clams were not tough potatoes were cooked perfectly definitely will return to try the chowder and maybe something new. Island kitchen is always a great breakfast or brunch spot. Can’t beat the fresh orange juice either. However, the service was slow yesterday. It took 30 minutes to bring us our drinks. They actually came out after our food, which might be the first time I have seen that. Either way, always is worth a visit.

We went to celebrate my birthday and had the most wonderful time!! The food was delicious. The atmosphere was warm, festive and unpretentious. The service was attentive. We ordered a bottle of rose and split the goat cheese apple salad (without bacon), the artichoke dip, and the pickled vegetables. For entrees we had the spicy tuna bowls and miso salmon. They surprised me with a birthday brownie. We’ll definitely be returning.

Best spot for ice cream on the island… this is not downtown, so you really need a car to get here, but this is my opinion is the best ice cream on island. The flavors are unique and very tasty and each time I have gone in we have had great service. If you can venture out of town this place is a must try!

Visiting Nantucket last year we discovered Island Kitchen and went twice, once for lunch and once for brunch. We loved it, so this year we went back again. Great options on the menu and consistently great food. It’s super busy, high traffic though so a bit of a wait for food. It’s pretty large with indoor and deck options for seating.
