Fun place. Not a whole lot of choices for the “meat and potatoes” man. There’s gambling. There’s jerk and curry plates, goat and oxtail. All authentic Jamaican foods. The nice lady just let me try OXTAIL. It’s bloody delicious!! Unbelievable! You have to try it!

We finally got to try this place!! We ordered the ox tail combo extra cabbage and a side of jerk chicken! It’s not very often we can compliment take out but this was delicious! The gravy was so flavorful and the chicken and oxtails were soooo tender! The portions were large and worth the money. I didn’t take the picture until we were done eating, and two of us were satisfied and full! Will definitely order again!

All I can say is Wow. This restaurant has some of the best food I have ever eaten in the city of Racine. The spice, the flavor, the char all come together to make an incredible culinary experience. Friendly and welcoming staff and hosts. I love this hidden gem so much. Seriously, you’re missing out if you haven’t tried them!

This place is awesome! My first time here I had the jerk chicken with rice and beans and plantains and I was NOT disappointed. I would 100% come back and be more adventurous with my order next time. Truly some of the best chicken I’ve had, and the plantains were perfect. If you’ve not been here before, it’s good to note that the parking and entrance are in the back of the building . Try them out! You won’t be disappointed.

Food was super delicious and the lady taking our order was so nice! I had ordered the jerk chicken (YUM!!!) which had generous portions and my fiance had the red snapper which was a whole fish cooked in vegetables. Only thing was he wasn’t super thrilled about all the bones! The menu doesn’t have any descriptions, which is unhelpful when you’re paying $20+ a person. Otherwise I think we’ll definitely be back to try more of the menu

Okay so we got the stew chicken and the oxtail. Really only went for the oxtail which is real disappointing because the stew chicken was the star of the show , so full of flavor and delicious while the oxtail was not tender at all felt like I was taking a bite out of a well done steak very sad about that the but definitely a hidden gem with the stew chicken for sure beautiful atmosphere and if you like slots they have a few machines. Def coming back for more stew. Lol

I just discovered this place a week ago and the Curried Goat & Chicken was delish, as has been the Oxtail, and the Jerk Pork & Chicken.. The servings of Red Beans and Rice and the Cabbage ate generous.. Even the small order is of a good size.. The food is prepared when you arrive so there’s a wait but it’s worth it when your food is hot.. My one complaint would be that they should hire a dishwasher so if you’re doing dine in the food could be served on real plates with silverware. . . Believe me when I say that the food is that good, it deserves that.. The carryout containers should be just for that, carryout..

Food is great but the service is HORRIBLE. What is the point of calling in a order, but they won’t start cooking it till you get there, than make you wait almost a hour for it, while they take other people’s order and grub hub, etc and get there food first while you still stand there and wait. Than when you get there, you have to stand at the counter for like 20 minutes before they even attempt to assist you.
