Excellent food, service, and atmosphere! We had the Ox Tails, Stew Chicken, and beef patties. It was all delicious, and so were the drinks. I believe it was the owner who even came over to check us us and give us a handmade mango drink, which was amazing. Will definitely be back!

Had an exceptional lunch and great dining experience at Island Grill. The jerk chicken, rice and peas, and cabbage were delicious.The flavors are definitely authentically Jamaican. The bar-b-jerk and stewed chicken were just as delicious. Everything was freshly prepared and the staff was friendly. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Christopher. He convinced us to try the stewed chicken gravy, which was divine. It wasn’t your traditional rich, thick gravy. Instead it was a thinly simmered gravy that bolstered the flavors of all the chicken, vegetables and herbs that it once contained. We will definitely return.

Staff was pleasant, I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas It was great, I took home some oxtail which was also great. The vibe and overall atmosphere was inviting. The owner takes the time out to speak with the customer and he addresses the situation. Would recommend to anyone. Loved the music in the background.

Man, this was everything! Flavors on point oxtail delicious rice and beans, delicious greens, delicious barbecue chicken, yellow rice, delicious plantains smacking definitely will be back.

The pics don’t do this justice. The food is absolutely amazing, and was the best Caribbean that either my husband or I have tried. The curry goat was so savory and the brown gravy chicken was sweet and tangy and I couldn’t stop eating it. Oh, and the seafood soup? WHOA. If we had time, we would have stopped on our way back by, heading home, just to pick up more. I’m already planning on driving over so I can have some next weekend, too.

The food is really good. But you have to go early cause they always always always run out of rice and peas. If they close at 8pm by 5:30-6 it’s never no rice and peas it’s only white rice and that happens often. I think they should make more to make sure the customers are getting the main dish

It was good. I liked the cabbage better than the greens. I also wasn’t a fan of how they make their Mac and cheese, all of the cheese was on the top. I heard someone behind me make the same remark to the owner and he said that is the way most of his customers like it, to each his own. ♀️ Everything else was good. We also had curry chicken, goat, beef patties, rice and peas.
