A J A M A C I A N resturant that can’t even produce a plate of decent wings, a third of thier menu, a half decent curry goat, and some seasoned chicken.

Beautiful atmosphere, and really nice people inside , support your local businesses because this one is worth it, I ordered the jerk chicken with plantains and peas and rice, the flavors are all on point delicious and cooked properly. You can tell when tasting it that it’s made with care and love. Will be back for sure. Also the nice lady is a awesome bartender , gave me a great drink for my wait !

Was looking for something different for dinner (6-7 pm) last night, so my friend and I decided to give Island Flava a try. We were a bit hesitant at first because we were the only folks eating, which typically isn’t a good sign. The fellow who waited on us was super cool and welcoming and then proceeded to tell us what wasn’t available on the menu. We weren’t sure how to take this, but forged ahead.

I stopped by this place on my way to Florida and God told me to eat here. Long story short I’m glad I did!

Most authentic Jamaican food in Savannah. I crave it. Can’t decide if the ox tails or jerk chicken are my favorite. The cabbage & carrots are always tender and buttery. Love the black pepper rice as well. The fish is also excellent. I also highly recommend the Blue MFer cocktail. Tastes just like what I’ve had in Boston Bay, Jamaica. The owner & staff are always friendly, it’s always genuinely good vibes, good music, and of course excellent food.

The place is open on Google from 2pm-10pm on just days, but when I arrived it was closed under construction. Save your gas.

I highly recommend Island Flava Caribbean, for anyone visiting Georgia. Food is outstanding and the atmosphere is amazing. Try the house special wings, with island flavor jerk wings!!!

We came here to eat and while we were very I understanding of the delay in food and drink orders being provided, the plantain being burnt, we were completely disrespected because of a miscommunication by one of the staff. There’s just a write way to talk to adults and this wasn’t it. Do better. Customers should be given utmost respect when they are patronizing your business, especially when we weren’t being disrespectful.

I really wish I lived in Savannah so that I could be a regular at this restaurant. The food was beyond amazing. Very authentic and flavorful. The Mac and cheese had me second guessing if I ever had Mac and cheese that good in my life. Everyone in the restaurant was very friendly and welcomed us with open arms even the owner. We felt like a part of the family. I will make a trip to Savannah just to visit this restaurant. This restaurant is black owned at its finest. Visiting this restaurant has been the highlight of our trip.
