It’s rare as a Jamaican you find food that reminds you of home. Even being from New York I haven’t tasted Jamaican cuisine like this. The red stripe beer fried chicken is something to really really phone home about. My husband and I each got a different plate. I was given a choice in oxtails either jerk or Curry. I went with jerk oxtails paired with rice and peas with veg. My husband ordered the jerk chicken with rice and peas with veg as well. I also ordered a side of Mac and cheese and 2 sides of festival.

I don’t do this often, maybe every couple of years or so, but the five star review that this restaurant, no, this shrine to flavor, has earned cannot be overstated. The man running the shack was super friendly, welcoming and generous with the samples, everything that I ate was magnificent, the meat was falling off the bone tender, moist and saturated with spices and flavor. The meal itself was a huge serving, more than your money’s worth of food and every bite is fantastic. Please come down and give this place some love and attention, it deserves both in spades.

5 stars!!! About 2 weeks ago, I finally decided to stop by after work. I called ahead and mentioned that it was my first-time ordering. I was informed that I would be given a variety of samples upon my arrival. They weren’t kidding. Everything was delicious! As I was getting my order, I met a Jamaican customer. She came all the way from Milton to pick up dinner. She ensured me that this place is the real deal. I ended up ordering the oxtail, mac n cheese, and curried ribs with rice. The portions are HUGE. We enjoyed everything!

This place is AMAZING. The owner is wonderfully kind and helpful. He gave us so many samples to help decide what we wanted. When we did decide the food was SO flavorful and the portions were HUGE. It’s reasonably priced too. He could have charged me double and I wouldn’t have complained. 10/10 would recommend.

Found this place randomly on Google. I’ve drove by it a few times but never stopped. I wanted something different and never have had Jamaican food. The mac and cheese was too DIE for. The owner was super kind and complimentary. Will definitely be going again! It was also super cheap for the proportionate I got!

Very very tasty! I have lived in this area for a year and so sad I’m finding this place on my way out. Lee let me try samples of the meats before I ultimately decided on the jerk chicken, mac & cheese, and fried plantain. I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a delicious, flavorful, well-priced meal!

Great food! GREAT customer service! I LOVE Jamaican food and I am very picky, this was great! 10/10 would recommend! Jerk chicken steamed veg rice and peas and fried plantain!! Yum! The festival was great too, like a sweeter dumplin. If your in the area looking to try something new check them out!

The people there are so nice and he let you taste different options to find your favorite meat there. I tried 3 different meats that were all amazing. 1 was their pork which was spicy but perfectly spicy. 2 was their ox tail.. you have to try this ox tail it is so tender and delicious. Now the 3rd, the 3rd was their goat. This goat is on a whole next level. If you get the chance you have to go their. Highly recommend and I will be going back
