I have been super excited to finally try IslaMarrota, today I got my chance. I dined solo for a late lunch. I sat at the counter bar area and ordered the legendary crabcake sandwich with the chickpea salad. Service was good. The lady that waited on me was very friendly and helpful, I appreciated her suggestions. The crabcake sandwich was good. Came with a lemon aïoli which was a nice touch. The crabcake had good flavor and very minimal breading. It was very thin. Was it good? Yes. Was it $18 good? Eh, debatable. Chickpea salad was good ,simple, and clean. Will I be back in the future for other items and to eat at this establishment again? If I have the opportunity, absolutely.

First time visiting the place and was very impressed. Menu is varied for breakfast and lunch. By far, the most $ friendly breakfast prices I’ve seen on the island, and I’ve been to all of them. I had the crab cake Benedict, very rich and excellent crab. The rest of our party had a mix of the menu and agreed this place is a gem. Truly surprised at the amount of empty tables since breakfast on Marco usually requires a wait to be seated. Inside and outside seating available, decor is cute and island vibrant. Only complaint, which really doesn’t affect the service or the food, is that there was no television, so I was unable to watch the game. Will definitely be back!

Stopped in for the first time today. Option of indoor or outdoor seating with umbrellas for shade. We sat inside which had a key west vibe, very cute and welcoming. Our waitress, Rhonda was funny and attentive. Lunch was delicious and fresh. My husband had the grain bowl with a crab cake on top. Although not a Maryland crab cake (we are from Baltimore County) it was flavorful and made with nice lump crab meat. I had the key west shrimp salad with mango salsa, although i would have enjoyed a few more shrimp, it was also delicious. Looking forward to make this one of our regular stops.

A wonderful hidden gem on Marco for breakfast or lunch. Had no idea it was even here as it’s quietly tucked away off of Bald Eagle Drive. The prices are very fair when compared to other breakfast places on the island. Food is very tasty and the location is very clean with a cute beach theme to the restaurant. If you’re looking for a great non-touristy breakfast spot where the locals go, this is it.

Family and I stopped in for lunch. The crab balls for an appetizer were meaty and fresh, my daughter actually ate one, she does not eat fish of any type. The brisket salad and the club sandwich was very good. The smoked turkey on the club set the sandwich perfectly. The chicken tacos with all types of fresh island flavors, highly recommend.

Fantastic breakfast!! Would recommend. Best waffle I’ve had and their breakfast burrito was amazing.

Stopped in for a mid week lunch, it’s fairly new so not too busy. Place is bright with natural light and very welcoming with about 6 tables inside and a few tables outside. You place your order at the counter and have a seat. Very friendly staff but expect to wait a bit longer than your typical sandwich place. The food makes up for the wait as my potato bacon soup and blackened chicken wrap were excellent. Fresh ingredients and chicken was cooked to perfection and had great flavor. Will definitely return.

We had lunch here on our recent vacation to Marco Island. The food was excellent! My husband had the Ahi Poke tacos and said they were amazing. The service was great as well. We will definitely go back if we are ever in Marco Island again!

My food was average but the other diners in my group enjoyed their meals (grouper sandwich, shrimp quesadilla and brisket salad). Crab cake balls had lots of crab but a little bland. Country Club sandwich had a thick slab of turkey which seemed processed. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Unfortunately, this is one of the worst meals I’ve had on Marco Island. The tables were sticky, the service was not good at all. We sat for 45 minutes and then received the wrong food. Once we received the little crabcakes that didn’t taste like crab, and a quesadilla that was almost inedible. Not sure how this place received such high ratings. Realize later most of the ratings are from years ago.
