The food there was absolutely wonderful! I haven’t had such flavorful, truly home cooked food like this in any other commercial restaurant. It was just really, really great food. Nice size portions, so much I had to take the rest with me & I thoroughly enjoyed it at home later. I will definitely return there again next time I go to Bechel Island. Small & cozy dining room with outside seating. It is well worth the stop.

As a Google reviewer, I stumbled upon this quaint spot by chance. At first glance, the dated decor gave me pause, but my doubts were dispelled by the warm greeting of a delightful young lady who took our drink orders and engaged with us. Despite the bustling atmosphere and lively chatter, she promptly took our food orders after a brief wait. When our dishes arrived, we were pleased to find them expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and served piping hot. The freshness and scrumptiousness of our meal exceeded our expectations. In sum, I’m grateful we decided to stay and enjoy the overall experience, which included great food.
