food service and atmosphere were non existent, because they closed @ 8pm, just missed them, but some great news is you can still get an excellent hot meal across the street at Chavas

Love the vibes here. Chill place. Steak & Eggs were cooked perfectly and coffee was good. Waitress was cool too

Food was terrible. Biscuits were dry, gravy was room temperature, bacon was cold, hashbrowns weren’t browned at all. Server was pleasant and quick but I think the kitchen staff would benefit from some retraining. The sad thing is that this used to be the best truck stop restaurant between Indy and Effingham.

Service was good, food was good. They need to update menus. Shows meals with garlic bread in the pictures and in the wording on the menu. Staff said they don’t serve garlic bread anymore. Not many options for a vegitarian but I pieced together some side options to make my meal work. Wife had chicken parm. She said it was good and 2 people could eat her meal and be full. Only issue ….Update your menus or start servicing garlic bread. Check out the pictures.

I have to say the salad bar was the best, it had blueberries, strawberries and cantaloupe. The plates are either cold or warm, only thing they didnt have at the all you can eat salad bar was soft serve ice cream. Staff seemed really friendly, especially the one with the fake tan.

45 minutes to get food the other waitresses brought my drinks my waitress was doing paper work for 40 minutes I guess. The food was awful cold vegetables, luke warm brown slush on top of burnt hamburger patties. They refunded the food and I paid for the 4 dollar coke and left a 5 dollar tip. Not sure who’s all responsible for whatever that was that showed up to the table but save yourself the hassle. You can eat at the Mexican place across the road or the family dinner by the road ranger. This the most staffed iron skillet I’ve seen in 3 years and yet its comparable to the Jackson Mississippi iron skillet…. which is permanently closed because it was terrible but atleast you got the terrible food in 10 minutes at that pos.

We sat down 3 other people came in sat down the other waitress came over took their order and was done eating before we got our food. My wife had to get another waitress to bring her salad because ours was busy watching tv even though she says she was talking to another customer. We complained about the fork’s being dirty so she brought us plastic forks to cut chicken fried chicken. She didn’t offer a discount or at least talk to the manager. FYI plastic forks don’t cut very good.
