It next to the place we stayed, so we ordered takeaway. I went there quite early, stuff are really friendly, had a little chat with the owner, he talked me through the menu and how they make the food, it was lovely. Love the ribs and the sausage, good value of money.

We got 1# of pulled pork & 1/2# of pork ribs for take-out. Pulled pork was juicy, tender and mildly spiced to bring out the smoked flavor. This was a great find for some amazing BBQ! We got there right at 5pm and it was already starting to fill up. The manager was very hospitable and made us feel like family. The ribs and pork were extremely delicious. A great place to take the kids and get your fix for good Texas style BBQ.

This is the best BBQ !! The brisket was melty, tender and the pulled pork is the best I’ve had since leaving Georgia. The sides were all excellent, too — mac/cheese; cornbread; beans; rice. So foodies will be happy —lot’s of love goes into it. They’re closed for lunch because they smoke the meat all day. The atmosphere was super friendly: the owner greeted us and the kiddos felt invited, too. And, it was all affordable! This is an amazing place!!

My wife and I have not taken a vacation alone for a while. We decided that we were going to Hawaii this year. We ended up going to Maui because the humpback whales mate off the shores this part of the year, and Amber really wanted to see them. We could see them from our hotel, but we also did a whale watching tour. It was so awe-inspiring to witness them in their element and when they breach the water. During the vacation, I obviously looked for some barbecue to eat. I found a place in West Maui that served southern BBQ.

Great BBQ. The ribs roll off the bone, and the brisket is moist and basically “to-die” for. The sides are good too, really liked the mac & cheese. We did sit down the first time, tonight we will be doing take-away.

My husband and I shared the combo plate (ribs, chicken, pulled pork, andouille sausage, and we added brisket) with mac and cheese, cornbread, and the “lil ole salad”. Everything that we had was really great and was a good size portion for sharing (we weren’t starving). The place is very casual, which is a nice change for the area since everything else around Napili Bay are fancy (and imo overpriced) restaurants. We don’t have children, but they did have a cute playroom for kids with floor to ceiling chalkboards and toys. The staff were all very nice and the service was great. We will definitely be going back here again before we leave Maui!!
