So I’ve worked front of the house and back of the house of my fair share a restaurants. I liked this place. They have something for everyone in terms of budget but not dietary restrictions. It is a chophouse, after all.

Have had both lunch and dinner. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere. All local meats and vegetables they have the farm listed on the menu so you know where your food comes from! You get to relax and enjoy a true farm to table experience!

Had driven by I&G for the last 2 years so we finally made a reservation for a birthday dinner. So we’ve cooked Grass-fed steak before at home on stovetop seared plus oven that has come out at a better consistency than the tenderloin I ordered. And my wife and both ordered “medium-rare” while our steaks arrived rare with purplish inner section, so there was a disconnect with the grill person. A friend who ordered well done piece also got a cold steak upon arrival plus the au jus or reduction sauce making for a less than warm serving. So my impression of I&G is the side dishes, app and Toffee melted dessert are great but as a chophouse they need to work on refining the steak prep so that items are prepared to spec and order.

My family and I went to Iron & Grass for fathers day and it was nothing short of amazing. We ordered almost every appetizer and they were all incredible. I would recommend the scallops or miso-chile duck wings. For dinner I ordered the 30 day dry aged tomahawk steak that was cooked perfectly to my liking and the quality of beef was worth every penny. Compliments to the chef Mark Fredette, all our food was cooked perfectly and the menu is very well put together. The time and effort taken to create the different plates and use the best local farm to table ingredients just shows how talented he is. I will be recommending Iron & Grass to everyone and can not wait to be back!!

The steak was better than Peter Lugers (and I love that place) and the service was beyond any experience I’ve had at a restaurant, ever. This is a destination dining experience. Come eat here before it becomes obscenely crowded.

Wonderful restaurant; excellent food; excellent service; variety of palettes…. The Burrata appetizer was fabulous… wouldn’t dine anywhere else!

This was my first time coming to Iron and grass, and I would love to go back. We came for my girlfriends birthday on a Thursday night. Iron and grass has a beautiful atmosphere. It wasn’t super packed, but it wasn’t empty either, tables were spaced nicely and dinner felt intimate. The food was incredible. We were both in the mood for burgers, and they certainly didn’t disappoint. The crispy smashed potatoes that come with it are out of this world and I’m determined to try to recreate them at home! For appetizers we got the miso duck wings and their spin on a French onion soup. They were both to die for. The wings were cooked to perfection and fell right off the bone, I’d go back for those alone! The French onion dish was equally as mouth watering, and the meat just disintegrated in your mouth. The waitress Riley is a saint. She was fantastic, and attentive. The drinks were absolutely phenomenal. For dessert, we opted for the sticky toffee cake. I normally do not like toffee, but the way they made a very thin layer atop the cake was incredible, and I couldn’t not stop eating it savagely! I was ready to order another to take home with me! All in all, this place delivers. It’s not overly expensive for a nice dining experience with excellent food. Absolutely give this place a try if you’re in the area and want a fancy, affordable dinner!

We’ve been coming here over a year and love it every time. There’s always something delicious and new on the menu in addition to our favorite standbys like the Himalayan red rice and porterhouse. The steaks are served with a beautiful pan sauce. Cocktails are unique and delicious. We are usually waited on by Russel who is amazing! So nice and personable and makes it a fun night out. Highly recommend!

Where do I begin? This establishment in my opinion is vastly overpriced for what you receive. The portions are very small and our party was all very surprised in what was placed in front of us. First of all, the table was reserved and we were told we had a 45 minute block of time to be there. Now tell me.. how is that possible if we didn’t get our order taken until 30 minutes after we sat down? Then, it took us about another 45 minutes to get our food. Second, some of us ordered burgers medium rare and medium well. They were very very pink. No thanks. Third, one of us ordered the potted beef and pork appetizer… and let me tell you that was not a “pot”. It was a tea light size jar full of cat food. Luke. warm. Cat. Food. But hey, at least we all had some great laughs and memories made. Would not recommend.

Me and my husband came here for my birthday and had the best time! The food was phenomenal! Fresh, tasty and worth every penny. The views from restaurant are beautiful! It was our first time in Hudson and this place was such treat. Don’t get me started on the OUTSTANDING service! Our waitress was Amanda (I hope that’s here name) she was so helpful with choosing what to eat and had great energy. Hats off to the Chef as well! ALL of the staff were friendly and helpful (especially when trying to get taxi numbers to get back to our Airbnb)
