Old old old family bussiness. Lots of history from the restaurant, the town,locals. The owners are been a staple in cannelton for years. Food is very good and really affordable.

Nice atmosphere. Everyone is friendly. Servers working hard. Went on a Friday about 5pm. If you order a soft drink they bring you a cup of ice and you serve yourself at the fountain machine. Keep that in mind if you have some mobility issues but im sure they would get your drink if you asked. Ordered 5 cheesesticks. They were good. The marinara pack is really small just enough for 2 cheesesticks. Pizza was just ok. Ordered meat pizza and veggie pizza.Toppings reminded me of a frozen pizza. Somewhat bland. Meat toppings were diced small. Sauce and toppings not as flavorful as they should be. Crust was good though.

I’ve eaten here since I was a kid. I live almost 3 hours away and every time I come to town, I order from Iron Gate. The strombolis are amazing, but the pizza is was takes it home. Love this place!!?
