It is rare I give 5 stars, but I am rating this place on what it is without comparison to a restaurant or brick and mortar. This is more like a backyard barbq shared publicly by the locals, and it does that extremely well.

When you walk up and smell the bbq and see out side seating your in for some good BBQ. Best brisket I have ever had. Super tender, very little chewing required. Go with the mashed potatoes for the side.

Authentic BBQ shack! Some of best I have had in my more than 70 years. The brisket is melt in your mouth tender with just the right amount of smoke. The sides were all very good.

The brisket was tender and moist with the perfect amount of smoke flavor. The sides of pinto beans and potato salad were excellent. The staff is super sweet and helpful. Could not ask for nicer folks. Overjoyed we found this gym of a place. This will become one of our Favorite go to places.

Co-located with a microbrewery. My appetite didn’t allow time for any pics. The burger was possibly hands down, the best I’ve had. At least no other comes immediately to mind. I still have to partake in the chili, but I’m certain it’s going to be good on its own.

It would be easy to miss this place, with just a sandwich-board on the road to guide you in, but please don’t. Had their special of the day, a brisket sandwich slathered in melted cheese, horseradish, pickled jalapeño. I need to give it time to sink in, but I think this is the best brisket I’ve ever had. Fall-apart tender, not overseasoned, you can see the smoke penetrated to every fiber. Mashies and mac salad were top-notch. Outstanding.
