We love the Intermission Deli. My husband grew up eating there almost on a daily basis. We don’t live near Saginaw, but anytime we are in the area, we stop by for lunch and we have taken many friends and family there for their delicious sandwiches. The owner still recognizes my husband after 30+ years. They have lots of sandwich options and the bread is fabulous. If you have never tried it, you should!

It’s always a good deal! You can get a really tasty and pretty large sub for less than $10. It’s a local place with so many friendly people. I’d personally recommend buying the Reuben warm it is super tasty! All I wish is that they were open longer and open on the weekends… One thing you do need to note is that they don’t always open at the opening time listed. They start selling subs as soon as they get the bread delivered from the bakery so it could be a little early or a little late. This is also true for the closing time. They stay open till they run out of bread which can be quite a bit earlier than closing. They run out of rye bread even quicker…
