I had a mixed experience there. I had the Interlachen pasta and when it came out the chicken was cold inside. When it came out the second time it was hot and very good. I’m sure that it was just a 1 off mistake in heating time. Very nice place and friendly staff. We will be going back again.

We love this place and try to dine in once a month if we can. The food is always amazing and the prices for the portions you receive are worth it. I personally love the macho nachos and my husband loves the Inn burger. Staff is always personable and friendly. Highly recommend!

This is our second visit to Interlachen and both times were equally pleasant. The food was good, we especially like the sirloin and pan fried walleye. Jim also liked his drink, creamy cat…a dessert drink. It would have been nice if the steak knives were sharp. The wait staff was friendly and helpful with drinks and the menu. We recommend this restaurant for a nice evening dinner.

We have been coming to the Interlachen since it was Andy’s Interlachen. The prime rib is seasoned perfectly, and a generous portion at that. Try the barley as a side, it is delicious. The atmosphere is a cozy up north lake decor. Janet is an amazing server.

It had been a while since our last visit to the Interlachen Inn. We were looking for that cool vibe that we remembered from previous visits. What we got was a chilly welcome, a meal I could have gotten at Hardee’s and staff that was more concerned about rolling silverware, wondering if they should fill the salt and pepper shakers and hokieing the carpet next to us. The walleye sandwich was most definitely not hand breaded as the menu suggested, the waitress had taken the temperature of how I wanted my burger, how I ordered it and how it came out was 2 very different things. If I had to bet the burger was most likely par cooked sitting in a hotel pan full of Au Jus, topped with green olives warmed up just enough to melt the cheese. The French fries were hot and above average so that was the win for the Interlachen Inn. We were not asked about dessert so we decided to go back into town for ice cream. We left underwhelmed.

Ordered the 12oz ribeye and got a cut of meat that covered the plate. Had to be well over 2 pounds of meat there. Well cooked, tender and very tasty. They do carry other dishes but their main focus is steak and burgers. It is a bit off the main drag but well worth the slight side trip (1-2 miles)

We had the walleye sandwich for lunch. Lightly breaded and perfectly fried. Home made potato chips are yummy. Good service and a nice environment. Enjoyed our time there.

Very good food. Very good service. I had the Hawaiian chicken and it was very good. Others had the walleyes, and prime rib. A little more expensive that I was hoping for, but it was good.

Long wait for food. Walleye sandwich was over deep fried to a crisp. Terrible . Could of had better at McDonald’s.
