Excellent pizza. The crust is cooked in a wood fired oven and everything made fresh in the front of the store. I picked the pistachio pizza and my buddy got the Davolia and wrote both were great. Posited with the marinara sauce you can’t go wrong. And getting a canoli for dessert was the perfect way to finish the meal. Will be going back again!

Having moved here from a bigger city, it’s very hard to find good wood fired pizza in this area. I’d love a little more crunch to their crust but otherwise really love their combinations and flavor profiles with their toppings. Seasonal Lemon pizza was a bit on the sweet side but tasted delicious.

Close to the real thing… but the ratio of ingredients to crust is a bit off — which is a shame given the great taste of the sauce and excellent quality of the toppings. Will give it another try and hope we get more actual pizza next time around.

Not your typical pizza place – almost like a speciality pizza place! Prices are bit high, but I am assuming this is due to ingredients used. Very nice for a date. We loved our pizza! You definitely taste the quality in the ingredients. I loved the bit of char on the crust. However, I wish the staff was a little bit more inviting.

I love pizza and when I see a new pizza spot open up I drop in and try a pizza pie. So they told they produce authentic Italian pizza pies bake at 900 degrees. So I ordered a small pizza, and was expecting a real treat but the pizza had a burnt-crust, I usually enjoy eating the pizza crust but this was un-eatable it was like charcoal, ash and tasted even worst. I admit the sauce and Italian sausage had nice flavor but was ruined by the crust. I was disappointed and it cost me $21, I will not dine at Inizio again, sorry but you cant serve burnt pizza and expect return customers.

Another great experience at Inizio’s! We tried the new Gorgonzola Pizza special and it was fantastic. We added mushrooms and Prosciutto to it which added even more to an already great pizza. Cole did a great job putting this together and was very receptive to our feedback on minor tweaks. Continues to be the best pizza in Charlotte!

I had take out order of 2 salads and their most recommended small Pistachio Pizza. I would give it 3.5/5 for salads and 2.5/5 star for Pistachio pizza. It was not that great tasting. Place was really packed for Friday evening. I also think that this place is sure slightly expensive. Spent abt $40 for my order. The cashier at counter was welcoming and very helpful, actually whole staff was very helpful. Overall 3/5 stars.
