This is a truck stop diner not a fine dining restaurant. As a truck driver I appreciate freshly cooked food especially when its excellent quality like here. Blueberry pancakes were excellent. Eggs were perfect not too oily.

I love a good diner and really wanted to like this one more, but there was no ambiance, just some dark gray booths and while the food was good, our meal was $40 for 2 sandwiches and 2 soft drinks. Yowza. That’s without a tip. Not sure how that was justified for a very basic restaurant tucked inside a gas station, in the industrial area of town.

I bought a trip permit there every 3 days for the last week and a half and I got to say that the customer service there is great. Always a warm smile and even compliments the customers. I got to say it has to be one of the most respectful mini marts / gas stations in the area. I am really pleased and feel good about my experience every time I leave there. Which wasn’t always true in the past. But today the cashier was wonderful and I didn’t get her name but she was wearing a red beanie. I wanted to tell her thanks for being a great cashier and even more excellent customer service provider.

Birthday meal. I had the long haul burger & steak fries. Wife had pancakes and bacon. I asked for extra burger sauce and over medium egg on the burger and it was messy, just the way i like it. Wife liked her pancakes and bacon. It was our first time here. Hopefully it continues to be this good. By the reviews I think it will be.
