Worst experience ever..!!! We’ve ordered chapathi and pakora, they got burnt food to our table. When I asked manager why we have burnt food served, he was insulting us by saying that people like crispy chapathi. Man, people like crispy food but not burnt food. Manager doesn’t have minimum common sense how to react to customer’s experience/feedback.. they have only 1 server in the entire restaurant and you don’t even get water refilled until you ask again and again..! I am never coming back..!!! Worst Indian restaurant in Michigan..!

This is a fusion of Indian food and not authentic Indian. Excellent sea food choices, good presentation but some of the dishes need improvement. Atmosphere is nice and service is laid back. It doesn’t really take anything away from not visiting this place.

So, after leaving the movie theater we saw this cute little place and thought clearly the food would not be authentic and this would be a complete waste of time. Wow! Were we wrong! The food was delicious and the services was incredible. I am vegan and I had some very challenging questions for the server and she was spot on! She knew her food and answered my questions so well that I thought she was vegan! (she is not). She was quite the conversationalist and we had such a great time eating and talking that we didn’t want to leave. Whenever I am in town I am definitely coming back to this restaurant. I’ve been here four times over a 9 month period and they offer consistently great food and service!

The food was ok, nothing spectacular. I’ve had much better for less money. The service was mediocre, at best. I didn’t appreciate the forced 18% tip for 2 people. You really have to read the menu top to bottom to see this. I didn’t see this until the bill came and the waiter brought the menu back and pointed it out. Then he had the audacity to say most people tip 20% and asked my mother if she had ever worked in the service industry telling her he relies on his tips to pay his bills. My mother hasn’t waited tables, but I have for at least 10 years. The only time a tip was ever added by management was for large parties of 10 or more people and even then we reminded the party before taking their order. Having waited tables before, I generally tip 20-25% unless the server is rude. I will NEVER go back here and I will NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE. I will also make sure all my friends and coworkers know to never dine here. BTW, in case the management ever reads their reviews, the date of my visit was 11/19/15 at 5 pm…couldn’t tell the server’s name and it is not listed on the bill. He was extremely rude!!!!

First off for all the people that don’t know anything about Indian restaurants, this place is pretty nice looking. It tries to make you feel like you’re at the edge of the beaches in Goa. The food might be on the pricier side, but it’s pretty tasty. I go here once in a while and it’s worth trying to see if you like their food. The menu is obviously directed towards Goan type foods so coming here you should already have a good idea of what food you’re eating.

The best Indian food I’ve ever had / the atmosphere is nice & cozy. I forgot to pick my new iPhone up off the table when I was done eating. When I frantically went back to see if it was still there 6 hours later, my very, very nice waiter handed it to me. 10/10 experience.

I visited this restaurant while in Novi for business. I ordered the fish curry on the recommendation of my server. I couldn’t have gotten a more delicious entree at a five star restaurant! It was fresh, moist and perfectly seasoned. It came with rice and a bowl of curry stew. I ate every drop. I told my server, if I lived in town, I would be here every weekend! We have nothing like this little gem where I live, much to my dismay! I can’t wait until I come here on business again so that I can try some other dishes! Really worth a trip if you’ve never been here!

My husband and I read the reviews and had a taste for this food fare so we decided to visit. From the moment we sat down and saw the prices we were disappointed. We don’t usually concern ourselves too much with that, however, considering this place looked like a dive and we were eating lunch, we didn’t think we would be averaging $15 a plate for a lunch portion. After asking the waiter for a recommendation and being scoffed at because I asked for something similar to the sauce in Korma, I decided to go with his recommendation. After waiting a while for our food, even though it was mid-afternoon (around 3pm) and one working server, we received what was a very small portion of food each. We did not receive any naan, sauce, or any other accoutrements with our small meal and the side was a small bed of lettuce, onions and tomato slices topped with a drizzle of raita.

Poor experience. We were a group of 4 on a Friday evening. we had to wait for 1 hr 15 minutes for our order to arrive. The dishes were switched and we got a meat dish instead of the vegetarian dish ordered. The replacement took another 20 min. For another entree, an additional topping was not added but charged. In the end a tip of $20 was charged by default.
