The sambal here is so fresh and good. The bungkus and the fish and the ayam kremes are easily my favorite things to eat here. I also haven’t seen any place that sells beng beng since college but they sell Silver Queen and Beng Beng here which felt super nostalgic.

Nasi Padang, Nasi Kuning and Ketoprak are the best. NASTAR from the shop is not recommended. The Lapis Surabaya is recommended. DURIAN JUICE is also NOT recommended.

As someone who grew up eating homemade Indonesian food, I can say this restaurant is authentic and amazing! Its tasty, flavorful and well priced with good customer service. Indo Bistro is located at the beginning of a series of Asian cuisine, which includes Mongolian BBQ, ramen, and Thai. It is a great opportunity to try a variety of food while stopping in 1 place. However, Indonesian is much harder to find so I would definitely stop in to try it. Orders can be made with zero spice, which they actually honor, and you will receive nonspicy foods. Simultaneously you can get sambal and adjust the spice to a stronger degree. Every order can be made to either vegetarian or vegan with tofu or requesting no eggs. If you order anything, I suggest you try fried rice. The biggest bonus is their shelves of imported Indo groceries to cook or prep Indonesian at home. (For those who know little about Indonesian food, Thai food is an adaptation of Indonesian food. Since spices were bought in the Dutch East Indies, aka Indonesia, recipes were adopted too. The further from Indonesia, the more adapted the recipe becomes. But Indonesian people have worked with spices longer than most other cultures in history.)

Feels like wholesome and deeply experienced home cooking. Very comforting and the Turmeric rice has wonderful fluffy texture and subtle taste.

Indo Bistro is Indonesian restaurant that serve authentic, tasty Indonesian dishes with great customer service and reasonable prices. Big note: it’s not easy to find Indonesian restaurants who provide great customer service, and so glad Indo Bistro do that! Our family has been their loyal customer since they opened the first one in West Covina. So happy that they opened the second one in Inland Empire, Grand Terrace – closer to where we live. My Hubby loves Nasi Bungkus Padang – and never gets tired of it. It has been our weekly ritual weekend lunch! Their menus offer various dishes that taste really like being back in Jakarta. The owner, Tony and our favorite staff Muli are very nice people. My family love the place, the food and the people! You go, Indo Bistro!

The closest Indonesian cuisine is near my area. Their little shop is full of your favorite snacks from Indonesia. We are grateful that you are existing here in Los Angeles Area.

The batagor is tasty! The ladies are always sweet and courteous so as the cashier. They sell some indonesian snacks, products like indomie and abc ketchup on site as well as sweet pastries. Good thing they opened a branch here in Grand terrace other than going to West covina.
