Don’t be put off by the atmosphere. This is a brand new restaurant in a small struggling town. The interior is rustic but clean. But the food is excellent, as good as any I’ve ever had, and the owner waits on you and is friendly . He added little extras , threw in this and that for us. And the prices are reasonable. And it’s only a one minute drive off the Canyonville exit of I-5. Our friends live near here and raved about the place , now so do we!

Another authentic cuisine added into the small town and I must say that it’s the best one yet. I’ve tried many Indian restaurants around Oregon, but this place truly serves quality and incredibly tasty food. We ordered the samosas, garlic naan, butter chicken, and saag paneer AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!

I stayed in Canyonville for a night traveling on the 5. I was excited to see Indian food, but didn’t expect much given the teeny town size (a very cute town worth visiting on its own). I was wrong- this place is incredible. I ordered the dal tadka (spicy), chili naan, and a side of pickle. All were fresh and absolutely perfect. Plus the price was great and the serving size allowed leftovers. If you’re driving on the 5 in Southern Oregon, go out of your way to eat here. Don’t let the tiny pioneer town feel fool you, this place is legit.

I came here with my family on the way to Seattle and was really impressed by the food. This was probably one of the best tasting Indian food that we had on the West Coast. The owner greeted us and was extremely friendly and accommodating. If you are in the area and want to try amazing Indian food, I would definitely recommend this place

I love the food here! It was my “family birthday out” choice! The proprietor is deeply appreciative that we come for meals. We’ve been here several times, always fantastic flavor in every menu item! I highly recommend this restaurant!

What a delight to happen onto this fabulous restaurant. The palak pakora was out of this world!! And the chana masala was also excellent. If you are passing through Canyonville or live nearby, do not miss out on this jewel of an eatery.

Came into Canyonville and looked at places to eat and saw all the 5 star reviews and knew we should check it out. Best Indian food we’ve had in a long time. Even our 13 year old enjoyed every bite. Very good food and service, but don’t expect a lot as far as ambiance. We were the only diners there after 6pm. Really hoping they get more customers as the quality of their food is definitely worth the visit. Wish they were in my city as they’d be a hit!

Really, not much to say but PHENOMENAL…ok and I can describe what that means in this case 🙂 This is the best Indian food in southern Oregon and possibly beyond. I’ve enjoyed the places in Ashland and GP but the food here tops them. Extreme bonus points for location. This spot being a mere 15 miles from my house is like fast food to me. I truly can’t believe a restaurant this good exists here, let alone an Indian restaurant. There are basically no food choices here as far as eating out, especially when you’re like me and grow and cook your own thus having impossible standards. This is only my second time getting food here but wow wow wow, flavors, textures, everything ON POINT. I am so excited to take my parents here when they visit since they always want to take me out to eat but the trek to GP or Roseburg is so far and usually for food not as good as what I make. There can be a language barrier, so if something is wrong with your order let them know theyve been happy to correct it both times this happened with 1 dish I ordered both times I went (they were both multi dish orders). I dined in a few months back and got take out today and it is consistent. Chilli naan so good. Rice is amazing. Every entree dish I’ve tried is amazing. Pakor is amazing. EAT HERE and help this place stick around in little old Canyonville 🙂 I give 5 stars for atmosphere because hole in the wall is an awesome atmosphere as far as I am concerned.

Wow! After being spoiled by some excellent Indian food in Seattle I haven’t found anything comparable in northern California. Food is cheap, delicious, and very flavorful. I can’t recommend this place enough. We showed up dirty and worn out on a road trip and had some of the best food we have had in a long time. We will be stopping here whenever we pass through!
