Coming from London where you can get the best Indian food – we thought this one would be good due to ratings. We had food delivered and tried a few dishes. However everything was either bland or unseasoned. The biryani and the bread was mediocre (except the only time ever a Peshwari Naan was not sweet). It’s hard to get Daal this wrong! Altogether really disappointing.

Food is good, one of the only good places I like to get lunch by my job. But they never answer the phone? Like honestly it’s like y’all don’t even want customers, and it’s always empty in there. It’s just so shocking to me. I order from here often and I am constantly calling multiple times to still not have anyone answer? Also one of the guys who works there is always confused on how to do a charge on card, so hopefully someone can teach him how to charge someone with card.

Worst Aloo tiki Chole, palak paneer i have had. Everything tasted very watered down with no spice. No fork or spoon with delivery either. Literally, spinach and water in a blender is what it tasted like. Took 1 hr delivery

This is their kadhai paneer. No salt, no masala, paneer and bell pepper floating in the water. We ordered gulab jamun, veggie biryani, garlic naan. EVERYTHING SUKCS. Food was stale, no taste. I’m really disappointed. And you will get stomach ache for free.

Poor excuse of Indian food. Never had a DRY chicken tikki masala, no sauce or nothing and they threw a bunch of onions on top. Undercooked garlic naan, doughy and gummy. And a very small portion of rice. Not the way a hard worker like myself wants to enjoy his dinner after a long day at work. Thumbs down, step it up

I’ve ordered the vegan Vegetarian Korma and their Dal Makhani, and some other vegan entrees— the portions are very generous and the basmati rice is really one of the best around. They do a brisk business. But even though ordering from them at the last moment the always deliver on time and the food piping hot, right off of the stovetop. Amazing flavors. There is a lot of criticism for this place yet given this proximity to the uppermost westside of Manhattan and choices for Indian takeout especially with Grubhub or others, there is not a wider number of restaurants here. Indian Express does greatly for its menu selection and I would highly recommend it for anyone who loves any kind of Indian cuisine. Just amazingly delicious!!

My chicken vindaloo lacked any sort of flavor and the lid wasn’t closed all the way so half the sauce had spilled out in the delivery bag.

No idea how authentic it is, but it’s delicious nonetheless 🙂
