I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Indian restaurant, and I can’t stop raving about the food! The flavors were incredibly natural and authentic, transporting me straight to the streets of India. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with rich spices and vibrant colors. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident, and the staff’s hospitality added to the delightful experience. Whether you’re a fan of classic Indian dishes or looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant is a must-visit.

India Palace is most certainly our favorite Indian restaurant ever and we have been to many (including India!). It is truly a hidden gem. The food is incredibly delicious, authentic, and there are so many options and variety you will never tire of. It is run by a very genuine and welcoming family. It is delicious for take-out or eat-in; the restaurant itself is a very pleasant and relaxed environment with beautiful design. You will feel at home here. Don’t miss India palace if you visit Portland.

A good little family run Indian place. The menu has a nice selection of both meat and vegetarian dishes. The portions were big and the food was well prepared.

Admittedly I haven’t been here since before the pandemic but my experiences with the food and the staff have always been positive. I am interested to go now that it’s under new management, but many of the negative reviews (some of which I doubt the legitimacy of, particularly since 1 star reviews are extreme) were left back when I was going and do not speak to my experiences. Someone was griping about the Indian decor. Um, Indian restaurant. Hello. Loved the Lamb Korma (wasn’t on the menu, made request), coconut naan and the appetizer sampler.

A little damp place with sticky floor. The male server himself used women toilet. Run by family from bangladesh and not authentic indian food. They don’t like if we ask 3-4 questions to understand food better. They serve dal makhani with yellow dal ( first time I have ever seen)

Food is decent, ordered Lamb Rogan josh(its little spicier than expected), Chicken Tikka Masala(Creamy but good texture), Malai Kofta(its very good), Garlic Naan(Must Try, very thin and crispy, Eat it hot out of the oven piping hot), Mixed Veg Pakora(this is very good, crispy, decently priced, side chutneys are awesome, especially tamarind and onion pickle), masala chai(this is very good), only complaint is the quantity of the food is very less for the price, especially the curries, lamb quantity should have been more or atleast add additional lamb pieces.

Wow. Im so pleasantly full and happy. Someone had recommended this place on a local Facebook page. Apparently they are under new ownership. I ordere on 2 Dine In & was blown away by how good the food is. We are regulars at TAJ (we did not care for hi Bombay or tandoor when we had them) and I have to say that it’s honestly going to be close. The Paneer pakora was so flavorful. You could tell they didn’t just coat it in plain chickpea flour. There are def spices involved. The chicken tikka app was incredibly moist and flavorful and didn’t burn my face off. That is a must have. Butter chicken was straight fire. I would say it’s in the top tier of butter chicken I’ve had. The saag paneer was delicious as well. It looks like they grill the paneer before going into the saag which was a nice touch. Rice was cooked perfectly. Chef’s kiss, baby!! We just got home from London and have been craving Indian. The price is right here as well. Definitely go check them out!!!

The food is very tasty and the staff is respectful and patient. When we were dining in the restaurant , there was a family which was very rude to the staff and left the place making racial comments. I am shocked to see they even dared to put negative comments about the place despite their mistake.
