Really good Italian fare. In Boca al Lupo is not a really fancy place but the food is excellent and the service is good. The portion size is very large. I highly suggest the Thunderdome as an unusual and delicious starter. We split it four ways and still had some leftover. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that likes Italian food.

What a wonderful dinner experience! Everything pictured is made in house, and I was thoroughly impressed. The pasta was cooked perfectly and a very unique find. For the funghi pizza, both the pizza crust and bottom were crispy and cooked to perfection. I even had the chance to see it made in front of me! The ice cream was very creamy and delicious – a wonderful end to a great meal! Service was quick and attentive as well 🙂

I’m a New York Italian, and this place exceeded all my expectations! A nice glass of wine followed by some delicious rigatoni and meat sauce with a perfect sprinkling of parmesan. And that fresh homemade bread? I could make a meal of that alone! Just … wow! I’ll definitely be back. My only suggestion, you served ziti pasta, not rigatoni. If your whole fork can’t slide into the pasta it’s not rigatoni. Other than that, 5 out of 5!

I’ve been going here since they’ve opened and I’ve never had a bad meal. The service has been excellent, the food is incredible, and they provide a relaxing ambiance to enjoy with friends and family. You can never go wrong starting with the thunderdome and caesar, and their spaghetti and meatballs is a classic hit for any occasion. However, I had to write this review because their current special might be one of the best dishes I’ve ever tasted. It’s a sautéed halibut that seems to just melt in your mouth paired with a citrus sauce that is out of this world. Not to say their other specials pale in comparison, but this one seems to just hit on a different level.

Such a funky place with incredible food! Definitely try the Thunderdome app … It’s pizza dough covered in garlic butter and parmesan and you won’t be disappointed! Also the Tiramisu is as good as any I’ve had in Italy!

Service was perfect. The Salmon Polpettes were a special and were an incredible start to the meal. We also ordered a pasta dish, the AK scallops, and a pizza, the @meatballberner (which is a thoughtful tribute to a Juneau-based pup.) The pasta didn’t find our fancy. The pizza did. Unexpectedly the cost of the pasta was removed from our bill as a gesture since we didn’t eat it. We added the cost of the dish as a tip as our service was wonderful. We’d absolutely return. Our group came here for dinner one night while visiting Juneau and we had a fantastic experience! The pasta and pizzas were all great and affordable! They even offer a gluten free pasta which worked out wonderfully for our one gluten free person in the group. Definitely would recommend checking this place out!
